CRRC has published a report on religiosity in the South Caucasus. Drawing upon survey data
from the Caucasus Barometer from 2009 to 2012, the report examines religiosity and religious
practices in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The data show, that while trust in religious
institutions and the importance of religion in daily life is relatively high in all three countries, there
are differences in self-identification as religious and religious practice. Read more...
CRRC Azerbaijan launched the second stage of the Junior Research Fellowship Program (JRFP)
on September 14, 2013. The program began with an orientation meeting for the fellows and
trainers. Successful fellows who completed the first stage of training online were invited to
participate in the rigorous semester-long training during the second stage to develop their skills in

CRRC Armenia has begun a new project entitled, “Tax perception surveys within the business
community and public attitudes towards tax policy and administration”. The project is funded by
Deloitte/USAID. A representative survey of 1,600 respondents and 400 business enterprises will
be conducted in order to explore public perceptions and business attitudes towards tax policy and

CRRC Georgia presented a preliminary analysis of MYPLACE data on youth civic engagement in
Georgia at the European Sociological Association’s 11th Annual Conference, “Crisis, Critique and
