Your student is interested in running for the Student Council. Once elected, students may need to
spend time as they plan and prepare for school events throughout the school year. At times, your
child may be asked to attend additional school meetings or activities as well.

In order for students to be elected as a Student Council Officer, a permission slip must be signed.
The permission slip allows students to participate in Student Council and confirms parental
agreement with council guidelines and rules.
