The foreign lawyers are required to pay some amount of fee for registration in India so

under the rule of 6(d) of bar council of India:

 The foreign lawyer needs to pay $25,000 for practicing in India$50,000 for
partnership firms
 The foreign lawyers need to pay around $50,000 to the bar council if they want to
establish a partnership firm
 Here they can get around 10000 dollars as renewal fee for individuals and around
$20,000 for the lawyers who are in the partnership firms

1. The foreign lawyers are registered on the concept of reciprocity where equal
opportunity and chances given for the Indian lawyers in the foreign countries also
2. The foreign lawyers before registering in India they need to put some security
deposits in the bar council so they can get the same security deposits after the
renewal
3. The foreign lawyers before registering in India they need to take permission from
the ministry of India and also permission from the their native place or
government
4. The bar council of India will govern the both Indian and foreign lawyers equally
and no discrimination between these two lawyers if they registered under bar
council of India

MISCONDUCT IN THEIR PROFESSION1

1. If any state bar council receives or takes complaint against any lawyer or
advocate then and bar council of any state if they have sufficient belief for reason
about that advocate on guilty of such misconduct then the bar council will refer
the case to the committee of discipline.

Chapter V of the Advocate Act, 1961, deals with the conduct of Advocates. It describes provisions relating to
punishment for professional and other misconducts. Section 35(1) of the Advocate Act, 1961, says, where on
receipt of a complaint or otherwise a State Bar Council has reason to believe that any advocate on its roll has
been guilty of professional or other misconduct, it shall refer the case for disposal to it disciplinary committee.
2. The committee of disciplinary after taking the case they will fix a particular date
for hearing of the case and they will issue a notice to the lawyer or advocate
regarding their misconduct of that particular state
3. After hearing these some punishments were given by the state bar council
disciplinary committee to the lawyer or advocate such as

1) the state bar council will suspend the advocate and lawyer for a particular
period of time

2) dismiss the proceedings which is taking at that time and if necessary the court
will take action against him

3) and also there is a chance of removing his name from the state bar council.

if any particular person for advocate is suspended or dismissed for a particular period
then and he won't be we eligible to practice in the court of law or two to legal aid any
person
