HAS SOCIETY REALLY CHANGED THROUGH THE YEARS?

We live in an age where changes are continuous. Many people often believe in society’s false
appearances, where the values doesn´t exist and where the people learn to follow all those
falsehood, getting infidelities, slavery and no conformity, without realizing that today we have all, but
tomorrow we might not have anything. What kind of values our society had forgotten?. What kind
of false appearances are being followed?.

While the world has been changing through the years, apparently people don´t. It´s incredible that
nowadays we can see a lot of people fighting to belong in a high society, we can see how many
people every day have being fighting or trying to fit in a fantasy world, a world empty of good
behaviors, empty of human qualities, a world empty of education; Always finding a fast way to
achieve their goals, but forgetting more important things. But what things are really important in our
society? Unfortunately for many people the best cars, the most beautiful houses, the best clothes
are very important. Placing “The Money” on the top of the list. The money has become one of the
most important things in this time. However money always have being through the years or
centuries the main reason for success, but also its lead to failure; For example, the necklace that
showed us Mathilde Loisel, a woman with greatness desires to belong to a high society of luxury, a
society full of fantasy and falsehood. For one night she fulfilled all her dreams, successfully
achieving belong to that society and then crashing with the ugly truth. To live that moment she did
not think of all the things she lost. She lost her house, her status, her friends, and her life. She lost
everything she had. Her desires had become a failure, and nowadays people continually are falling
in this mistakes, forgetting values, feelings, education, family, even love becoming selfish. But what
happens behind all this false appearances? Whose is the problem? It´s a problem of the society or
a problem of each person?.

In conclusion all the changes in the world and whose inhabit it have to be necessarily to advance
and improve, but we can never forget our values, our customs, and specially our essences in
achieving our goal.
