technology.PSA oxygen,due to the dynamic effect, and according the zeolite molecular sieve
has the characteristics of selective absorption, nitrogen has been adsorbed by a large number
of zeolite molecular sieve,when did not reached equilibrium in the adsorption, the oxygen in
the gas phase was enriched up and under the PSA nitrogen,oxygen separation.Using Japan
omron PLC of the automatic control technology to realize the continuous production high
quality of oxygen.There is advantages: the equipment is compact, small footprint, fully
automatic, reliable operation, from the parking, low running cost, room temperature production
and easy maintenance,and the oxygen purity and yield can be properly adjusted, no pollution,
is an efficient on-site oxygen plant.

VI、 The Component Description

PSA oxygen gas generator is composed of five parts: Compressed Air Purification System, Air
Tank System, O2/N2 Separation System, Oxygen Gas Buffer System, and Electrical Control
System.

1. Compressed Air Purification System

The role of compressed air purification system is to remove dust,
water and oil from compressed air. It’s mainly composed by three
grade filters, freezing drier and effective oil removal.

zeolite molecular sieve is the key material to affect the production of

oxygen generator, as the air provided by air compressor usually
contains oil and water, which will reduce the adsorption capacity of
molecular sieve, so oil and water must be filtrated firstly from the
compressed air which will be carried into O2/N2 separation system.

2. Air Tank System

The role of air tank systems is to smooth the gas transmission of
O2/N2 separation system, preventing too rapid flow velocity in the
switching transient, and then air tank system could impact the
purification of air, and help to extend the natural life of zeolite
molecular sieve.

Air tank system is composed of air tank, safety valve, closing valves,
ball valves, pressure gauges ect.

3. O2/N2 Separation System

O2/N2 separation system is the core of O2 generator. Its main part is

two towers filled with zeolite molecular sieve. When the compressed air get into adsorption
tower, the N2, CO2 and H2O is absorbed by zeolite molecular sieve, O2 is produced from the
export terminal. When one tower produces O2, another tower releases the N2, CO2 and H2O
by reducing the pressure to get the renewable desorption of zeolite molecular sieve. Two
towers alternate adsorption and regeneration to output O2 continuously.

O2/N2 separation system is composed of tow tower filled with zeolite molecular sieve,
pneumatic valve, muffler, throttle, clamping cylinder, and pressure gauges etc.

4. Oxygen Buffer System

The main role of oxygen gas buffer system is to balance the pressure
and purity of oxygen gas which separated from O2/N2 separation
system to ensure continuous supply of oxygen gas.

Oxygen gas buffer system is composed of buffer tank, flowmeters,

dust filters, pressure regulating valve, throttle, and safety valve etc.

5. Electrical Control System

Electrical Control System is to control start-up & shutdown operation,
the status light, sound and light alarm fault instructions, purity display, driving pneumatic valve
by setting procedures etc.

Electrical Control System is composed of the process controller CPU, triple gas source,
electromagnetic valves, lights etc

II. Technology Flow Introduction

The flow of producing OXYGEN gas is composed mainly of four steps:
 Air compressor provides compressed air with certain pressure;
 Air purification system purifies compressed air by removing the dust, oil and water;
 Oxygen and OXYGEN separation system produce qualified OXYGEN gas with PSA
technology;
 OXYGEN buffer system provides a stable source for follow-up equipment by the
storage of OXYGEN gas.

Air compressor compress the air through the consumption of electricity , for providing stable
and sustainable raw materials for follow-up of oxygen and OXYGEN separation system.
Compressed air enters the air purification systems from compressor. The role of air-purification
system is to remove dust, water and oil by the three filters, freeze-drying machine, and
effective degreaser. Degreasing which is to protect the core component of OXYGEN machine -
zeolite molecular sieve, to avoid oil poisoning.
Purified compressed air enter the separation of oxygen and OXYGEN, oxygen and OXYGEN
separation system equipped with a zeolite molecular sieve. The two adsorption tower worked
alternatively to provide the stable production to meet the requirements of the user.

The carbon molecule sieve adopts “ snowstorm ” method to load, makes the molecule sieve
being distributed evenly and has no dead angle, and difficult in chalking; Adsorbing tower
