To complete this assignment successfully, you will need to have completed the work from
Weeks 1-6 of this course.
There are 4 (FOUR) tasks in this assignment:
1. Identify and research the cost of 5 items needed for the business
2. Find or create a copyright compliant image that represents their business
3. Find or create a graph that illustrates some aspect of their business idea.
4. Create a Works Cited or Reference page with reference citations (listed in alphabetical
order) for all of the above.
This assignment will contribute directly to the Finance section, Works Cited/Reference list, and
whichever section their image and graph are most applicable for.
For this task, you will identify 5 (five) items related to your business idea. Then research
the cost of those items. They will create a table that will include the item name, the cost, the
supplier, and an in-text citation. The table will include a properly formatted title, columns, a
Total row which shows the total amount of money necessary to finance these items, all prices
will be in Canadian dollars and formatted to the 2nd decimal place (i.e. $1,450.00). The price

Task 2: Image
Using the information in the Visual Elements presentations, you will find an image
labeled for noncommercial reuse (discussed in the Week 5 content) that represents your
business. The image will be formatted with a figure title and source statement.
Task 3: Graph/Chart
You will find or create a graph or chart that illustrates some aspect of your business
idea. The graph/chart will include a Table title and source statement. The information used to
create the graph/chart will be cited using a proper citation style. Then, you will write a
paragraph explaining and referring to the information in the graph/chart and how it relates to

citation in either APA or MLA. Do not number your reference citations or use bulleted lists. Use
proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling and use correct, precise, and clear language in your
paragraph.
