Activity: Career Orientation Date: February 6, 2020

Narrative:

Last February 6, 2020 career orientation was held at Marian Learning Center and Science
High School Inc. The guidance officer was in charge for this activity. Grade Twelve students are
the target participants of this event were most of the students were going to work and some were continue
schooling. The prayer was delivered by Rezalyn De Torres a grade twelve students. Before the orientation
proper has made there is an energizer game which is Pinoy Henyo. Each declared winner will receive a
prize from the company like sticker and a fan. John Aranas of grade twelve Zinc and Noel Salas of grade
twelve Cadmium won the game.

SHS creates the following opportunities Standard requirements will be applied to make
sure graduates know enough to be hirable, you will now be able to apply for TESDA Certificates
of Competency (COCs) and National Certificates (NCs) to provide you with better work
opportunities, Partnerships with different companies will be offered for technical and vocational
courses. You can now get work experience while studying; and companies can even hire you
after you graduate. Graduates of the K to 12 programs will be perceived with increased
competency and have better global opportunities. The improved basic education curriculum is
decongested and focused. Students will have more time learning core academic areas thus
ensuring better comprehension.

The speaker stressed out the history of their company and the services they offered for
the applicants. They also cited the incentives and
the

requirements needed when they want to apply on their company. After the orientation, the

student is free to ask question about the things

that are not clear to them like the salary, and
benefits.
