at Carnival time!
Carnival is a moment of festivity and joy. It is celebrated all over the world and
each country has its own traditions. Some cities are famous for their Carnival
parties. Let’s discover them together! Complete the passages with the adjectives for

Me and my pet

Rocìo and Clara


Hi! My name is Rocìo. I am twelve
years old, and I live on a beautiful
farm near Quito, Ecuador. This is
my friend Clara; she is a white
goose and she is very friendly!

I love nature and I really enjoy


living on a farm. There are so many
animals, all beautiful ... but my
favourite pet is Clara the goose!
She has a
long, white neck,
an orange beak and
black and lively eyes.
She is very sociable
