ADVISORY

In view of the Work-from-Home arrangement being implemented by government agencies


with the Luzon-wide Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from March 17 to April 13,
2020 to address the current COVID-19 situation, the Board of Investments (BOI) announces
the following:

A. FOR ALL BOI-REGISTERED ENTERPRISES

1. Submission of Reportorial Requirements and Motion for Reconsideration (MR)


to the Legal and Compliance Service

The deadline for submission of reportorial requirements is extended as follows, in


view of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 28-
2020 extending the filing and payment of 2019 Annual Income Tax Returns from April
15, 2020 to May 15, 2020 without imposing penalties:

For items 1 and 2, the email submission and filing, upon due receipt, shall be considered as
the official filing date, subject to the submission of actual documents and requirements, and
payment of filing fee if required, within the extension period provided.

3. Filing of requests related to BOI-registered projects

The filing and processing of any requests related to a BOI-registered project, such as
issuance of Certified True Copy (CTC) of Certificates of Registration, etc. are
suspended.

4. Submission of Motor Vehicle Development Program (MVDP)-related requests


or applications

The submission and processing of MVDP-related requests or applications online


shall continue to be processed online.

B. FOR OTHER ENTERPRISES

1. Prospective Applicants

The submission and processing of applications for registration or accreditation are


suspended. However, applicants may opt to submit through EMAIL their applications
to the concerned BOI Services below for check listing and initial evaluation:

The applicants will be notified of the deficiencies or any action taken on these email
submissions though EMAIL.

2. Enterprises with Pending Applications

a. For those already notified in writing of the approval of their projects prior to the
ECQ, the deadline for the submission of pre-registration requirements is
extended for fifteen (15) working days from the lifting of the ECQ.

b. For those whose applications that were officially received and are pending
evaluation, the same shall be processed upon the lifting of the ECQ. The
prescribed processing period of twenty (20) working days shall be reckoned from
such date.
