Exl-Plan - Attach Toolbar Utility

This utility attaches Exl-Plan's special toolbar to Excel. It will never be needed by most users.

The utility will be needed if a user does not have read/write access to Excel 97's *8.XLB toolbar file
to enable Exl-Plan's toolbar to be added to Excel's toolbar list. This is an Excel-related problem.
It will also be required if an Excel 97 user saves an Exl-Plan file using the Excel 5.0/95 format. This will
result in the detachment of Exl-Plan's special toolbar. This is related to Excel file incompatibility.

Use this utility if Exl-Plan hangs after displaying the message "Exl-Plan is resetting toolbars, please wait
a minute or so" in the status bar (at the bottom of Excel's Window). If this happens, it will be necessary
to close down Excel (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and/or reboot the PC.

To use the utility, transfer this file to the PC containing Exl-Plan, load this file with Excel and then press
Run Utility. Next, close this file and load Exl-Plan as normal. Keep this utility safely in case it is ever

To prevent the hanging problem from recurring, don't save Exl-Plan files for Excel 97 in the Excel 5.0/95 format.
