Present Continuous + descriptive Adjectives

An adjective modifies a noun or pronoun by providing descriptive or specific detail


Example:

Dirty
Clean

New Old Beautiful Ugly

Sweet Bitter Short / tall Fast / Slow

Examples of a sentence
1- I’m eating sweet apples
2- You’re wearing a beautiful sweater
3- She’s running very fast
4- He’s driving a new car

Present continuous + Negative + descriptive adjective

All you need to do to turn a sentence into a negative is to add a “not”

Example:

1- I’m wearing blue pants → I’m not wearing blue pants


2- You’re eating a big watermelon → You aren’t eating a big watermelon
3- He’s swimming slow → He isn’t swimming slow
4- She’s washing a small car → She isn’t washing a small car
