The novel: The events of the novel begin with the departure of Jean Valjean, after spending
nineteen years in prison; This was because he stole a loaf of bread, and he was finally
released, but his past will continue to haunt him, and in Degen, no one refused to receive
him even for one night, only Bishop Saint Monsignor Merrill welcomed him, sympathized

Marius is seventeen years of age, Marius falls passionately in love with a beautiful girl in the
gardens of Luxembourg is Cosette, but he was too shy to make any bold decision, the
daughter of Thearder Ebonin loved Marius, but she knows that he loves Cosette and her love

‫وعندما خرج فالجيان بعد ساعات‪ ، -‬عتقله جافير فورً ا ‪ ،‬عندها ناشد فالجيان جافير السماح له بأخذ ماريوس للعالج قبل‬
‫أن يموت ؛ فوافق جافير ‪ ،‬شعر جافير بعذاب مزقه بين واجبه في مهنته والدين الذي يدين به لفالجيان إلنقاذ حياته ‪ ،‬وفي‬
