Upload instructions

Windows XP or Windows 7, 10

Usually your image files that you want to upload, are available on CD or DVD. The steps are slightly different for Windows XP and
Windows 7, 10.

If you are using Windows XP, proceed as follows:

1. Create a folder on your desktop (right click on desktop -> New -> Folder) and name it "Upload".
2. Insert the CD or DVD. (If a viewer program to view the images is now opening, you end the application). Open "My
Computer", right-click on your CD / DVD drive and select Open.
3. You will see the directories and files contained on the CD / DVD. Select all the data by Edit - press -> Select All.
4. Click Edit -> Copy.
5. Now open the folder by double clicking "Upload" you created in Step 1 to your desktop.
6. Copy the files in this folder by clicking Edit -> click Paste.
7. Once the copying is completed, close the window and go back to your desktop.
8. Right-click on the folder "Upload" and select Send To -> Compressed ZIP folder. This summarizes the whole image data to
a single file "Upload.zip".
9. Download this file to our server. Just click the upload section of our website "Upload patient data". Select Desktop and
select the file "Upload.zip".
Click Open.
10. The upload starts. Depending on the amount of data and your Internet connection can vary from a few minutes to even
a much longer time. Close your Internet Explorer only when the message "Complete Upload.zip, 1 file uploaded" is
displayed.
You have successfully sent us your images.

If you are using Windows 7, follow these steps:

1. Create a folder on your desktop (right click on desktop -> New -> Folder) and name it "Upload".
2. Insert the CD or DVD. (If a viewer program to view the images is now opening, you end the application). Open "My
Computer", right-click on your CD / DVD drive and select Open.
3. You will see the directories and files contained on the CD / DVD. Select all the data by Edit - press -> Select All.
4. Click Organize -> Copy.
5. Now open the folder by double clicking "Upload" you created in Step 1 to your desktop.
6. Copy the files in this folder by clicking Organize -> click Paste.
7. Once the copying is completed, close the window and go back to your desktop.
8. Right-click on the folder "Upload" and select Send To -> Compressed ZIP folder. This summarizes the whole image data to
a single file "Upload.zip".
9. Download this file to our server. Just click the upload section of our website "Upload patient data". Select Desktop and
select the file "Upload.zip".
Click Open.
10. The upload starts. Depending on the amount of data and your Internet connection can vary from a few minutes to even
a much longer time. Close your Internet Explorer only when the message "Complete Upload.zip, 1 file uploaded" is
displayed.

If you are using Windows 10, follow these steps:

1. Create a folder on your desktop (right click on desktop -> New -> Folder) and name it "Upload".
2. Insert the CD or DVD. (If a viewer program to view the images is now opening, you end the application). Click on the
Windows icon and type computer (the typing field will open automatically with the first letter you type) choose “this PC”
left-click on your CD / DVD drive.
3. You will see the directories and files contained on the CD / DVD. Select all the data by Home - press -> Select All.
4. Click Home -> Copy.
5. Now open the folder by double clicking "Upload" you created in Step 1 to your desktop.
6. Copy the files in this folder by clicking Home -> click Paste.
7. Once the copying is completed, close the window and go back to your desktop.
8. Right-click on the folder "Upload" and select Send To -> Compressed ZIP folder. This summarizes the whole image data to
a single file "Upload.zip".
9. Download this file to our server. Just click the upload section of our website "Upload patient data". Select Desktop and
select the file "Upload.zip".
Click Open.
