Transcript Thermodynamics
Before start, can you tell me what comes in your mind by reading
“Thermodynamics”? Just focus on word, you will be able to grab this.
Right... Thermo means Heat & Dynamic means Motion. ‘Yh sb bas kahne ki bat h
darasal hm yahan bat kreinge heat & Work ke equivalence ki’ Like Steam Engine
‘Steam energy se hm engine chalate the mtlb koi cheez ghumate the, Steam means
heat, Ghumana means work’ we will study more about this in first law.
Fir hmein padhna hoga ki kb yh laws valid h kb nhin h means heat k transfer m kb
koi process possible hoga kb ni hoga.
Then we have to study Thermal Energy. ‘Yh sari kahani mila kr Thermodynamics
bnega.’
1:- Every people explained conversation of energy in their own way. “Energy can
neither be created nor destroyed” or “can be transfer from one form to another” or
work can be converted into heat, heat can be converted in work” like that. etc.etc.
‘sb ne apne apne form m explain kiya aur jb hmne in sari definition ko combine
kiya to bn gya 1st law of thermodynamics.
2:- In the same way this also a common law that “What’s possible in the universe
& what’s not possible”
Meanwhile these laws are not of any individual these are made up of collective
laws.
Now let’s talk about Heat. Heat is a form of energy that can be transferred from
one object to another or even created at the expense of the loss of other forms of
energy.
Now let’s see formal definition of “Thermodynamics”
“The branch of Physics that deals with heat and temperature, and their relation to
energy, work, radiation, and properties of matter.”
In this, we’ll also see about Thermal Equilibrium. What is this? “When all the
properties of system macroscopic like Pressure (P), Volumes (V), Temperature (T),
Mass (M) No. of moles (n) constant. We’ll discuss this in details.
In this we’ll also cover numerical which is very important. Later in this chapter
we’ll discuss Importance of Thermodynamics & some question on energy. We’ll
discuss zeroth laws in detail that’s beyond your class study. So from the next class
we’ll start this chapter in detail. If any doubt, don’t hesitate, Ask me. We’ll cover
all & every concept in details.
Thanks
