The Eva Bralette, Knickers & Suspenders/Garter Belt
Notes
• Pattern pieces for bralette, knickers and suspenders are on pages 6-22.
• Lace should have at least 30% stretch (e.g. 10" of lace stretches to at least 13").
Materials & Supplies

Bralette – all sizes
Stretch lace: 1½ yards of 8½" wide lace or 2½ yards of
6" wide lace (6" lace is only suitable for sizes 32 – 36)
Underlining for cups (optional): ⅓ yard of stretch net,
stretch tulle, or lightweight T-shirt knit
Picot-edge elastic, ⅜" or ½" wide: 1½ yards
Strap elastic, ½" wide: 1¼ yards
If adjustable straps are required, 2 rings and 2 sliders
in same width as strap elastic
(optional) 6" of hook and eye tape for back fastener
Knickers – all sizes

Size guide/hip measurement: S = 36" – 38",
M = 38" – 40", L = 40" - 42"
Stretch lace: 2 yards of 8½" wide lace or 6" wide lace
Gusset lining: 8" x 12" piece of soft cotton knit fabric
Picot-edge elastic, ⅜" or ½" wide: 1⅛ yd
Suspenders — all sizes

Size guide/hip measurement:
S = 36" – 38", M = 38" – 40", L = 40" - 42"
Stretch lace: 1 yard of 8½" wide lace or 6" wide lace
Stretch tulle for lining: 16" x 6"
Picot-edge elastic: 2 yards
Strap elastic: 1¾ yards
4 sliders and 4 suspenders to fit the width

Order of Construction

Order of Construction
Order of Construction:
Knickers
1. Join center front and center back
seams of Pant pieces with a ⅜" seam
allowance and narrow zigzag stitch.
Press open and topstitch.
2. Join Crotch in lace to Crotch in
lining fabric at the sides. Trim back,
turn and press.
3. Zigzag the center front and
center back of crotch section.
4. Match crotch section to pant
pieces and topstitch in place.
5. Attach picot elastic at waist edge.
Order of Construction: Suspenders (Garter Belt)

1. Pin lining to center front sections. Stitch center front seam, press open and topstitch.
2. Join side to back, press open the seam, and topstitch.
3. Attach picot elastic to lower edge of the section.
4. Join front to side, press seam open (do not topstitch).
5. Attach picot edge elastic to waist, making sure the bra hook and eye will fit at center back.
6. Attach bra hook and eye.
7. Make 4 suspenders – 2 x 141/4 cms and 2 x 17 cms
8. Attach the two shorter suspenders over the front to side seam.
9. Attach the two longer suspenders over the V shape at the back.
Congratulations, you're all done! Now just add some bows.
