Mandatory Selection Criteria [General aspects]

1) Age -Men’s/Women’s- Not Less Than 16 & Not More than 23

2) Height- No specification but spinner with good physic will get preference

Selection Criteria [Technical aspects]:

1) Spin Ability
2) Legal & smooth bowling action.
3) Unorthodox & effective bowling.
4) Age level to be considered for the selection (proposed level 16-18 years & 18
above to 23 years). Since the expectation of spinning ability, control, variations
etc. are not same.
5) Faculty wise [Left Arm Spin, Off Spin & Leg Spin) selection may be considered but
comparatively better spinners to be selected.
6) Short listed spinners to be tested in different types of wickets (If available).

Phase 1 [District Trial]

Duration: 14th February to 28th February 2017 [1 day in a district or venue]
Total Venue-69
Technical Team: Divisional Coach will lead & Assistant District Coach will provide
support
Local Level Organizer: District Sports Association
Trial Process:
Step 1- short listing [Each participants will bowl at least three balls]
Step 2- venue wise final selection [short listed participants will bowl at least 1 over]

No. of Spinners to be selected for 2nd phase: Not more than 25 from a district venue
[includes female & physically challenged spinners]

Phase 2 [Divisional/equivalent Trail]

Duration-3rd March to 17th March 2017
To be conducted by BCB Central Technical Team
Venue: 10 venues [Divisional/Equivalent]
Process:
Step 1- short listing [Each participants will bowl at least three balls]
Step 2- Fitness & other necessary test for the short listed participants
Step 3- Final selection [short listed participants will bowl at least 2 over]
To be selected maximum 60 participants from all venues

Phase 3 [National trial]

Venue: NCA, Dhaka
Duration: 20 March 2017 to 27th March 2017 [Residential]
No. of Spinners to be called: Maximum 60
To be conducted by BCB Central Technical Team

Process:
Step 1- Physio screening & Fitness Testing [Day 1]
Step 2- Technical Assessment through net sessions & Video Analysis [Day 2 & 3]
Step 3- 1st Elimination [Day 4]
Step 4- Tactical Assessment & Final preparation [Day 5]
Step 5- Final Elimination [Day 6]
Finally top10 spinners to be selected & awarded

General Info:

1) The Number of test days can be increased subject to large number of

participants
2) Participants will be required to bring their NID/Passport/Birth
certificate/PSC/JSC/SSC Certificates as proof of their age
3) Participants must have a Robi number to register & be contacted further from
the organizers.
4) BCB & Robi Axiata Limited has the full authority to change the date & venue
details without prior notice.
5) All participants will need to sign a physical activity waiver of liability form. Minors
will be required to bring parental permission
