Technology has led to faster transportation and global communication, but it has also increased dependence and prevented fully experiencing moments. While technology facilitates aspects of life, overuse can be harmful if it is not balanced with real-world experiences. Whether technology has truly improved lives depends on achieving a balance in its usage.

Has technology really improved the quality of our lives?
Never before have been technological advancements being developed
every day. That leads to the debate whether or not they have a positive impact on our lives. In the following lines I intend to outline a few pros and cons about the technology integration in our lives and to conclude with my take on the subject. Firstly, technology facilitates our live as everything is being done faster than in the past. To begin with, transportation is a great deal convenient and does not take much time to reach the wanted destination as a result of technology. Another benefit to consider is the great facility, which technology provides, in communication between people all around the globe, in comparison to the time before the technological revolution, when people were waiting a long time to receive a response to their letter. Nonetheless, there are many downsides of technology as being an integral part of our lives and one of them is the dependence, which it creates. To illustrate it, the vast majority of people will capture a beguiling sunset with their smartphones with the effect of not fully enjoying the moment and probably forget it in little time. In conclusion, it is not an either/or question if technology has really improved our lives for better. Notwithstanding, if there is balance in the usage of it, it probably will not be harmful for our lives.
