GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
· Revise the topics covered in all the subjects in the online classes
· Encourage the child to use the magic words- thank you, sorry, please and excuse me.
· Encourage the child to cultivate the habit of reading.
· Converse regularly in English.
· Do not use plastic or thermocol for any activity
Ø Now find 10 new words that you have read in the books you read and write them down
on a strip of paper.
Ø Use a dictionary to find their meanings and write those down too on the strip.
Ø Fold old newspaper/magazine pages/ paper plates to create a circular shape like a plate.
Make ten of these and colour them on both sides.
Ø Next, stick the strip with the word and its meaning on the circle/plate.
Ø In a similar manner, paste the remaining words on all ten circles/plates.
Ø With help of an elder, pierce a hole in each plate using a sharp edged tool or object.
Ø Now use a strong thread to tie all the plates together giving it the shape of a wall
hanging.
And voila, your very own vocabulary hanging is ready!
