Employment Practice: Work Family Balance

Balancing our time with the family and work is a good thing. But in today’s
generation we can tell that people are workaholic they spent so much time working. Do
they still have time with their family or they know how to balance it with their job? How
does this affect to an employee’s practices in his or her workplace?
When an employee has this enough time allotment to his work and family then
he/she will be able to have a good relationship with his family. So at home he/she with
the family members are open to one another. They have this time to enjoy together and
they didn’t bring any work problem or work papers when they are at home spending
enough time with the family. And in the workplace an employee could be productive
and focused at work. He/she can be so consistent in the good performance that he/she
is showing in his/her workplace.
We can’t also hide the fact that some employees are too focus at their job. Yes,
they may be too good at work but they are having a bad time with their family or it might
be that they are too focus with their family that they forget to finished their paper works.
Everyone can be in a different situation but the outcome is still they don’t balance family
and their work. They don’t spend enough time for both their family and job. And
because of this their performance at work could be not as good and as outstanding as
what the people expected that employee could be.
But the essential thing that an employee could do is to practice work and family
balance in order to have the best performance at work. This could help an employee to
have a positive outlook with his job and with the relationship to his/her family. Through
this balancing of time with the family and work an employee will not have a hard time
dealing with his problems at work and at home. Instead an employee could be so
productive and optimistic in every situation that he/she can encounter at home and at
work.
