A Study on design and power output of Bangui Bay Wind Farm Wind Turbine.

Statement of the Problem

Due to the growing demands of power to sustain the evolving way of living of humans, production of
clean energy through wind has become one of many ways to respond to the danger of depleting other
energy sources, however, mechanical engineering students lack the fundamental knowledge on the said
technology to possibly proceed on its development.

Objectives

General Objective

This study aims to understand the fundamentals of a wind power plant based on the
local windfarm in Ilocos Norte, Bangui Bay Windfarm.

This paper focuses on the study about the Bangui windmill in Ilocos Norte. The data gathered used in
this research will be limited to the data provided in the internet and the data gathered in the books we
used in the past research. This paper only shows the history, the equipment used and the power it can
generate.
