NIGHTCAFE STATION

Reference and Guide for DJs/Hosts/Admins and Room Owners

Main Goal: To provide and/or promote HAPPINESS, FRIENDLINESS, TEAMWORK, ENJOYMENT


AND FAITH TO OUR ALMIGHTY FATHER. This applies to everyone inside NightCafe Station
WeSing Party Room including listeners, singers, DJs, Hosts and Room Owners.

NIGHTCAFE STATION STANDARDS/ HOSTING/DJs CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:

- Must be creative and spontaneous.


- Must have grace when talking and know how to use positive scripting
- Must be friendly, approachable and must have a massive amount of patience.
- Must be open to opinions, suggestions, and possible trainings.
- Must have willingness to learn new things.
- Must greet listeners, visitors, guests and other PR members lively and professionally.
- Must be attentive to details.
- Must not be stereotypical and not passive to others.
- Must be optimistic ad does not bring negativity.
- Must be confident, funny and smart.
- Know how to handle stress and let Room Owners know if they feel any pressure,
- MUST HAVE IN GOD.

DOs’ and DONTs’ During LIVE OPERATION of PR.

- Do make your own tag line for yourself to let people recognize you and will give notion
to people that you are a NightCafe Station DJs. (Be creative, no copyright)
- Do share the responsibility to your co-Host. Share ideas and conversations that people
will enjoy. Don not purely own the microphone and over talk to one another.
- Do learn how to state a low tone and loud tone appropriately and properly. Do not
match loud tone with a loud tone. This is to assure a clarity and non-chaotic Party Room.
- Laugh hard and appropriately. Let people hear you that you are happy. Do not frown
and sound sarcastic.
- Do make people feel that you are interested on what they will say or what they said. Do
not be passive nor be selective on the people that you want to talk to. If people are
offensive try to pacify and direct/report them to room owners.

- Be responsible to what you say. Take ownership of what you said.


- Being a DJ or Host of NightCafe Station the room owners trusts you with your
decisions/prerogatives to mute people or kick people from PR but keep in mind that you
should have grace or patience. If any scenario like that you can always let the Room
Owner know about it and we will make the further actions.

- Do practice stating a polite warning to the culprit to avoid on offending the other
people. This is to avoid a LIVE conflict during PR operation.
- Do practice on recognizing other P.R. when coming in. Make all the people feel that
NightCafe DJs are not into political growth and we are reliable and an advocate of
equality and equity.
- Do provide a quality entertainment. Do not create any issues or entertain any issues
about other PR especially during PR operation. This is to avoid the NightCafe Station get
involve to any existing conflict. Nobody wants to part of toxic environment.
- Avoid using a copyright taglines or short phrases especially from an existing Radio
Stations.
- Do not discriminate people due to their gender, appearance and attributes. You can
make jokes out of them/it but be wise enough to gauge the situations, their personality
and other’s reactions.
- Do take own the stage with your Co-Host and do not get swallowed by microphone-
eaters. If this scenario happens practice the low tone voice to warn them and let them
know that they will be set on mute. (Soon we will practice to auto-mute people when
they are at the stage-but HOSTS needs to be a quality entertainer so that people will
keep their focus to YOU during conversation)
- Avoid swearing words. You can make an expression word but not to insult people but
just to express your funny-silliness. Keep in mind that we cannot filter minor listeners.
- Do practice happy words. Giving green words should not be below the belt and should
not come from the initiative of DJs or Host. Ride on their jokes but advise them early
that NO BELOW THE BELT words.
- Do practice stating disclaimer for minors that they always need a parent guidance. This
it to avoid and hit-from WeSing offenses.
- DJs and Host should always check the messenger if there’s anything that they need to
know. Do practice professionalism during LIVE operation. Keep internal matters inside
the ADMIN group chat. To avoid distracting your listeners/viewers.
- Do not rant during LIVE PR. We must attract positivity and not negativity.
- Let our listeners/singers feel that they are special and we are interested to them and
they are the main character at the specific spot and not US(DJs or Hosts). It is given that
we own the stage and it is our responsibility to make them shine.
