Racism is very common these days and it is observed in many countries. It can be defined
as discriminating with others in terms of their skin color, nationality, religion, sexual orientation,
socio-cultural backgrounds. African origins Americans have faced a lot of racism in the past.
Racism affects a person’s life in many different perspectives. Racism leads to different physical
and mental illnesses, which are against a person’s overall intellectual growth.
First of all, racism has numerous adverse effects on a person’s physical health. People
who had faced racism are more likely to have physical illnesses. A researcher Dr. Trent observed
in a research that African-Americans who had faced discrimination had high number of heart
related problems, anxiety and blood pressure (Klass, 2019). This research was conducted by
also found that the physical effects of discrimination are visible on children during the pregnancy
time of their mothers (Klass, 2019). This happens because their mothers had also faced racism;
therefore effects are on both mother and the child in the womb (Klass, 2019). Another physical

In conclusion, racism is considered as an enemy for any society and country and it has
many adverse impacts. There are several different ways to eliminate this from the society;
however the most obvious way is to accept everyone and live with peace, unity, love and sense
of brotherhood. We should not define anyone from skin color or physical and other attributes.
Everyone is a child of almighty. If this message of peace and global brotherhood is delivered to
the world, then this social evil of racism can be permanently eliminated from all the societies.
