INSITE™ Fault Viewer Overview

 INSITE™ Fault Viewer is designed to


provide the ability to monitor public faults on
a J1939 or J1708 network
 INSITE™ Fault Viewer will help to isolate the
probable cause of a system failure or error
 This information can be used to troubleshoot
Cummins Inc. engine problems as well as
other devices on the network

Using the Tool
 To open INSITE™ Fault Viewer, go to Start
>All Programs >Cummins Inc >INSITE Fault
Viewer
 INSITE™ Fault Viewer will try to automatically
connect when it is started
– If the appropriate datalink adapter is not connected,
an error will display
 INSITE™ and INSITE™ Fault Viewer can
not be connected at the same time, since both
use the same datalink adapter connection

No
– INSITE™ Fault Viewer is independent of INSITE™

INSITE™, but you must have a active registered version
of INSITE™ (except for INSITE™ Basic) installed on the
PC
