3. Understand the nature of folk dancing.
4. Perform the basic steps learned.

Review the things that we need to do before dancing.

a. What are the basic steps in folk dancing?
(Teacher will teach each step slide, skip, bleking, gallop, mincing, parallel
tortillier, pivot turn, touch step, change step, waltz turn, and stamping to be
followed by the students)

Cultural Dance is really important; this is our way to tell other people on what are the
things that they need to know about our culture. It is also the way that other people could
have respect, knowledge and give importance to our traditions and norms. Let other
culture tell what the stories behind their dance are.
