Sub: Precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Novel Corona Virus
(COVID-19) as per MHRD and UGC guidelines – Reg.

In compliance with the MHRD and the UGC guidelines issued under reference
(1) and (2) cited and in continuation of the University circulars under reference (3) to (6)
cited, the University shall remain closed till 31st July, 2020 in view of COVID-19.
However, the University circular under reference (3) cited with regard to the attendance
of staff will remain in force and all the precautionary measures as mentioned in the
above circulars for the pevention of COVID-19 are required to be observed by the staff,
and also by the foreign students who could not vacate the University hostels.
In addition, as per the MHRD and the UGC guidelines issued under reference (1)
and (2) cited Faculty members and PhD students shall work from home during the said
period.
All the faculty, non-teaching staff and students shall ensure the installation of
Aarogya Setu App as a precautionary measure to fight against COVID-19.
