REMEMBER
1. Adding an "s" to the singular is the
usual way to make plural nouns
naming nationalities:
Example Italians, Canadians, Brazilians,
South Africans, etc.
2. However, the plural of nationality
nouns ending in – “ese” does not
have an "-s,"
Example, we would say two Chinese or We
are Chinese
3. A few nationalities that have –“ish”
or –“ch” in their adjective form do not
add "-s" or "-es"
Examples: We are English, They are French.
