Subject Description: This subject aims to develop students’ understanding of fundamental trigonometric functions: angles, solution of triangles, periodic phenomena and their
applications. The subject extends to include analytic geometry and application of trigonometry to navigation.

Subject Objectives: At the end of school year, the students are expected to:
1. Develop skills in abstract thinking and problem analysis.
2. Develop appreciation of one’s surrounding by showing certain natural phenomenon expressed in trigonometric terms.
