Harmony Enterprise
Installation Guide (Local DB)
Version 2018.3 – February 2019
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Before you begin your installation and setup of Harmony Enterprise 2018.3 you must first determine
which license type you received from IHS Markit. This will help you determine which installation
sections of this guide to use and which steps you must complete to successfully install, license, and
launch Harmony Enterprise in your company’s environment.
You have been licensed for the Multi-user edition of Harmony Enterprise. You have additionally
opted for either a network or standalone license. Each installation is slightly different and requires a
different set of components to install as well as different steps to complete. To determine which
license type you have, locate your original EMS – Entitlement Certificate licensing and entitlement
email you received from IHS Markit Delivery (CustomerCare@ihsmarkit.com). It will look like the
following:
In your email locate the section titled Associated Products to find the Product Name(s) you have
licensed. Now determine which Product Name format on the following page matches your
Associated Products listed in your EMS-Entitlement Certificate email.
Network
If your associated products match the Product Name format above, you are licensed for the Multi-
user edition of Harmony Enterprise with a network license. Begin on page [4].
MU
Standalone
If your associated products match the Product Name format above, you are licensed for the multi-
user edition of Harmony Enterprise with a standalone license(s). Begin on page [4].
