Textbook: Daniel and End Time
Chapter#: 2

The following are the things I’ve learned from the commentary:

1. “King Nebuchadnezzar had a strange dream.”

2. No one from the summoned individuals had been able to interpret the king’s dream. Then the king
yelled saying, “I want this useless fools chopped into pieces and their houses turned into piles of
manure.”

3. “Daniel and his friends prayed and God showed Daniel the dream. He went before the king and told
the dream.”

4. “The head of gold represented Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom, Babylon.”

5. “Daniel and Revelation are actually one prophetic book.”

6. “There will be no safety anywhere.”

7. “Jesus will come for His children who have obeyed His word and accepted His salvation.”

Reflection:

The second chapter of the book of Daniel revealed to me that God sometimes shows us an
abstract situation to reveal His greatness and presence towards us. It also made me realized that no one
in this world can do the things that only God can do, He just sent His chosen servants to show His
miracles in each of our lives. And if we constantly connect to our Almighty Savior, He will reveal to us the
things we need to do in order for us to become the light that will shine in this dark and wicked world.
When we faithfully wait for the Lord’s coming, together we will go home with Him in that heavenly
kingdom prepared for us.
