Case Assignments

Students will prepare a written analysis of the case.

If the professor does not provide specific questions for the case, the written analysis must include:
1. A brief discussion of the problem or issue at hand 2. Identification and pros and cons of several
alternative courses of action 3. A final recommendation regarding what should be done 4. Your rationale
for the option you recommend

Your papers should be typewritten, 12 font, 1 inch margins, single-spaced, no more than 2 pages.
Supporting financial analyses, charts and tables may be placed in an appendix.

Important: I do not expect to see a description of the case itself. When writing the paper, assume that the
reader has already read the case study. Your paper should be analytical in that you are evaluating the
pros and cons of the various alternatives presented in the case before making an informed decision on
which path to take.
