When you log in to the Amazing Selling Machine dashboard, it will look like this:

Make sure that you take these two important steps before doing anything else:

1. Fill in your profile information
2. Request access to the Facebook community

Editing Your Profile

Take the following steps to edit your ASM profile:

1. Visit your Facebook personal profile page, then highlight and copy the URL.
2. In a new tab or window, log in to your ASM account.
3. Click the arrow next to the profile image blank circle at the top right of the page.
4. Select “Account” from the drop-down menu. The next page you come to will look
like this:

5. Paste your Facebook profile page URL into the “Facebook Profile URL” box.
6. Enter the required information (Address, City, State, Zip Code, Country, and
Phone), then click “Update Information.”
7. Click “Change” on the profile image circle, which will currently be blank.
8. Click “Choose File” in the pop-up menu, and select an image that you would like
to use. We recommend using a smaller image, preferably a headshot.
9. Use the circle inside the pop-up box to frame your photo—everything inside the
circle will show up in your photo. The pop-up box looks like this:

10. Click “Set as Avatar,” once you are happy with the photo. If you are unable to set
your photo as an avatar, try using a smaller image. Once your avatar is set, click
“Update Information” one more time.

2. Joining the ASM Facebook Community
Take the following steps to join the ASM Seller Facebook group, after you have set up
your ASM profile:

1. Go to your ASM dashboard, and click the Facebook “F” at the top right of the
screen to access the ASM7 Facebook community, called “ASM Sellers.” This is a
private Facebook group, and you must be an ASM member to access it.
2. Click “Join Group.” This notifies our customer success team, who will check the
request against your ASM profile to make sure you’ve added your Facebook URL,
and will then add you to the group.
3. If you have not added your Facebook URL to your ASM profile, the customer
success team will not be able to add you to the Facebook group.
4. Once you are added, you will have access to a hugely helpful community of
members, mentors, and instructors, all of whom are working to help you become
successful!
3. Navigating the ASM Dashboard
Read this section to quickly find out how to effectively use the ASM dashboard. Make
sure that you have signed in to your account before trying to navigate the page.

The Weekly Call

Take the following steps to access the weekly ASM coaching calls:

1. Log in to your ASM account, and click “Weekly Call” at the top right of the page.
2. The link takes you to a page where the weekly calls are hosted. It looks like this:

3. Click in the box underneath the videos while it is live to ask your questions during
the call.
4. If you cannot make the live calls, they will be made available in your membership.

Recent Badge Earners

On the dashboard, take a look at the “Recent Badge Earners” section—it shows you who
has earned which badge. This process is automated, and displays the most recent
accomplishments.

Calendar

On the dashboard, take a look at the Calendar section. It shows any important event that
is coming up. The solid green circle indicates today’s date. Important upcoming dates
have a green circle around them. They look like this:

Click any of the circled dates and a pop-up screen provides you with details about the
day’s events.

Private Resources Vault

Check in here to find all of the tools and resources that we use and recommend,
throughout the course.

Lesson Player

Locate the lesson player on the dashboard, at the top of the page, to the left of the
calendar. It looks like this:

This is where you watch all of your videos. Click “Resume Course” to be taken straight
to the last lesson that you viewed. That page looks like this:

Scroll down the bar on the left to peruse the entire list of lessons. This allows you to
quickly find exactly the video you want to watch.

When you have finished watching a lesson, a green check mark will show up next to that
video in the sidebar, to help you keep track of your course progress.

Lessons are released one at a time, which means that some of them will be padlocked
at the beginning:

As the lessons are released, the padlock will disappear, letting you know that the video
is now available to you.

At the bottom of the screen, you will see a list of icons:

Here is how to use each icon:

1. Click the first icon (starting on the left) to rewind the video 15 seconds, in case
you just missed hearing something, or need a quick repeat.
2. Click the second icon to adjust the quality of the video. Please note, the video
player already detects the speed of your internet, and will give you the
maximum quality available to you. However, you can still click the icon to adjust
the quality of your video at any time.
3. Click the third icon from the left to adjust the speed playback, and slow down or
speed up the video according to your needs. Speeding up a video can be quite
helpful when you have already watched it, and simply need a refresher!
4. Click the fourth icon to access the lesson documents (PDFs, spreadsheets, etc.)
that come with the lesson.
5. Click the fifth icon to mute the video.
6. Click the sixth icon to send your video into fullscreen mode.

Lesson Q&A

Click “Lesson Q&A” at the top right of the video scroll bar, when there is something you
would like to know more about. Then, click “Ask a Question.”

Make sure you have already taken a look at the list of questions BEFORE you ask a
new one—there’s a good chance that your question has already been asked and
answered!

Click the question that you need an answer to (if it is already in the list), and you will
access a page that contains your answer.

If a mentor has answered your question, it will say “ASM MENTOR” in green underneath
their profile photo. Our mentors have years of experience both running their own
physical products businesses and helping others do the same, and will provide you with
answers that you can trust.

Take the following steps to ask a question, if it has NOT already been asked:

1. Click “Ask a Question” in the video sidebar to the left.
2. Enter your question in the first available box.
3. Add more information into the box below your question, and start with a
hashtag—this helps more people find your question. For example, enter #WML07
to ask a question about Lesson 7 of the Welcome Module, #WML05 to ask a
question about Lesson 5 of the Welcome Module, and so on. Enter any additional
information that you need to, then click “Post My Question.”
4. When your question has been answered, a notification will show in the sidebar. It
looks like this:

5. Click that question to access the full “Questions and Answers” page, which looks
like this:

6. Click “Questions” at the top left of the page to get to a list of all the questions.
The page looks like this:

7. “Active” questions have been answered, “Unanswered” questions are still waiting
on a reply, and “My Questions” shows you a list of only the questions you have
asked.

Support

Click the down arrow at the top right of the dashboard (next to your profile picture) and
select “Support” from the drop down menu. This will take you to the Amazing Selling
Machine support page, where you can get help with technical questions, questions
related to your account or setting up your profile, or questions about claiming badges.

Please note: Post your questions about the video content in the sidebar next to the
video or in the Facebook community, so that our instructors and mentors can quickly
respond!

Once you have successfully set up your ASM profile and joined the Facebook group,
take some time to familiarize yourself with the ASM dashboard, using the instructions
above. Then, it’s time to move on to the next lesson!
