Step 1: Download the Payil Mobile app and login

Click on any of the links below to download the app to your local device. For an Android
device, click the Google Play link, for an iOS device, click the App Store link and if you are
using a computer, use the Web App link.

After downloading the app, you can login with the same
credentials that you used to sign up for the internship
program.

If you don't remember the password you used when

you applied for your internship, you can reset your
password. To reset the password, click on the ‘Forgot
Password?’ link as shown.

Step 2: Start the Mobile App Dev Internship Course

Click on the My Courses button in the lower navigation menu, you will be able to see the
‘Mobile App Dev Internship’ Course. As shown below:-

Click this to view the Theory subject as shown below.

Within the Theory subject, the Introduction module will be accessible to you
.

As you can see, the ‘Design & Development’ module is currently locked. Click on the
Introduction module to view the materials and make sure to read on, to find out how to
unlock the rest of the content.

You can read through the introduction as shown and when you have finished, you will see
the screen below.

Read through the attachments. Once you have gone through the materials, your screen
should show that all three of the materials have been ‘Viewed’ as shown below.

The progress you have made will show up in the My Courses navigation menu as 8.33% as
shown below. This number will keep increasing as you progress through the course.

After you have studied the slides and are ready to be assessed, you can always use the
Course Overview to find your next task. At this stage, you should see the first assignment.
You can also click the Assignments button on the lower navigation menu to find the list of
assignments accessible to you. Only after completing each assignment will you be able to
view the next module.

Attain a score of at least 70% in each assignment to unlock each subsequent part of the
course. Every assignment has a discussion related to it, found in Discussions. Please use
this tab to ask any questions to the instructors.

Step 3: Complete the online/theory part of the program
Now, when you go back to the Theory subject, you will find the Design & Development
module unlocked as shown below.

You can always use the Dashboard to pick up right where you left.

Complete the rest of the modules till ‘Debugging Tech’ in this manner until you have finished
the materials. This will unlock the “Hands-on Project” Subject.

Step 4: Interested students can participate in the optional Industry
visit

Once you have completed the Theory subject, please put a message in the Discussions
menu. This will let us know that you are eligible for the industrial visit. When you Choose
people, add the instructors ‘Jude Raj’ and ‘Tina Samuel’ or tag them when posting using the
@ symbol. By default, All People will see your post, you can change this setting for any
discussions you create.

To participate in the Industrial visit at Nila Apps, you will need to finish the ‘Theory’ subject.

Step 5: Complete the hands on project

Utilising the knowledge that you have just acquired is extremely important to understand
what you have learned. Once you have completed all the lessons in Theory, you can start
your Hand-on Project. This consists of 4 assignments and will require the software, Android
Studio. The details are in the course materials. Follow the instructions given within each
instruction and upload screenshots of your results to each assignment.

Questions?
For any doubts or questions, use the Discussion tab in the menu. There may be others who
have asked the same question as you, therefore, please make sure that you search for your
query before posting a new question. The instructor will answer all your doubts. If you would
like to schedule some time with the instructor, click on ‘Schedule’ and then ‘Request a
meeting’. Select a time slot and your request will be sent. After your request is approved,
please be ready for the meeting with the instructor. Make sure to thoroughly utilise the short
time and ask your doubts.
