It is with considerable interest that I apply for the position of ESL teacher. Master’s degree in ESL
teaching, International qualifications (CAE , IELTS, TESOL and CELTA);22 years teaching experience and
above all, my unwavering enthusiasm and passion for teaching make me confident that I can be a
positive contribution to your academic team.

What makes my application particularly relevant , is my long work experience in summer camps in
various international organizations. In fact, my very first teaching practice took place in summer camp
of private secondary school “ Author’s School of Knights’’ where I was responsible for planning fun
based, engaging syllabus to help the students not only improve English but develop socially and
personally. By creating humorous, age appropriate role-plays, sketches and communicative games the
mission was accomplished.

Yet, I believe it is LTD. Buckswood Overseas Summer School (2013-2018) which was the greatest test to
my creativity and teaching mastery since it involved conducting student-centered and participative
lessons with teenage upper intermediate/advanced level international students completely off plug.
Apart from teaching, my duties included giving a speech at the morning assemblies; acting as a judge at
presentation/ essay/ project nights ; participating in competitions ;Teaching off-site classes and writing
weekly student reports.

Teaching intermediate- advance level teenage students in winter camp ‘’Sherwood’’, Mountain resort
-Bakuriani (2016 December) was another opportunity to try out innovative and creative ideas at the
lessons. My primary goal was contributing to students’ development of life skills by assigning
collaborative, competitive and critical thinking tasks. I ensured that the students got outside of their
comfort zone, laughed, took risks and pushed their language acquisition to the next level.

In conclusion, the above mentioned qualifications and experience makes me certain that I am able to
enspire the students and provide unforgettable educational and social summer experience.
