Current situation developed by COVID-19 is effecting the business environment in a negative way.
Many businesses have shifted to the different business modules. There are different opportunities
prevailing in the market. Discuss what kind of marketing opportunities do you foresee in this situation?
Explain the answer with proper justification. Do you observe any change in consumer’s behavior during
this situation? Please state the changes you have observed in consumers behavior.

Read the case study given at the end and answer the following questions.
1. Identify the segment variable(s) used by Nirala sweets also provide justification.
2. What was the positioning statement of Nirala Sweets?
3. Identify the reasons of reduced demand in the case.
4. Do you think this organization needed the repositioning at that time? Which marketing decision
do you think was more appropriate in that situation?
5. Prepare a SWOT analysis for Nirala sweets.
6. What would you suggest to Nirala sweets for future Marketing?
7. If Nirala sweets wants to launch bakery items, will it be worth starting? Give your answer with
theoretical support and analyses.
8. Analyze the behavior of old generation and new generation with respect to the given case.
9. What type of consumer behavior will you adopt while buying sweets and why?
10. Analyze your most recent purchase of sweet items using the process of consumer buying
