Levels of Technology Integration:

☒ Infusion Level: Students may work at a higher Bloom’s Level, but they do not have any “Voice
or Choice” during the activity and most of the decisions are made by the teacher.

☐ Integration Level: We would like to see ALL lessons/activities reach this level. The project is
student-driven. Students have “Voice and Choice” in the activities, selecting the topic of study and
determining the technology tool to demonstrate mastery of the standard. The teacher becomes
more of a facilitator.
☐ Expansion Level: The projects created are shared outside of the classroom, publishing student
work and promoting authorship. This could be reached by showcasing the project on the school’s
morning newscast, posting the project to the classroom blog, or publishing via an outside source.

Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you
will introduce the SRT activity.
Students will be introduced and taught about the different elected officials and where they work. They
will have the time to explore and practice the vocabulary by using the productivity tool BrainPoP.
Once the information has been study students are going to be introduce to Quizlet. I will be telling

During the SRT activity students will work independently to answer 9 questions on this formative

to a computer or iPad.

☐ Yes ☒ No
☐ Mixed (Some will have correct answers, other will not.)
Immediate corrective feedback: Will you pre-select correct answers to some of all of the questions
and display correct response to the class after the SRT activity?
☒ Yes
☐ No
Why or why not? Students will be quizzing themselves as they need to.

Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity? After the SRT activity I will go over each
question to verify which questions they missed in order to help clear up any misunderstanding or
confusion.

How will the data be used?

I will use this data to see which terms students missed the most and which ones I will need to review
more heavily in class. This particular assessment will be used to monitor student’s progress in a
formative manner. It is possible this data may be used in a parent conference.

Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.

I hope to motive my students with this activity to learn these terms and provide a fun way for them to
learn them. I hope this will help students review these terms in a way that is best for them and at the
pace that is comfortable to them.
Reflective Practice:
Students can practice using the matching games after they have taken the quiz. The teacher will
encourage students to use practice games within Quizlet. The variety of games allows for student
