NARRATIVE REPORT
(AUGUST 30, 2019)

“Wikang Katutubo: Tugon sa Isang Bansang Filipino.”

We are all created by one God despite the fact that we have different religions, different
colors, in one way we all came from him. We came to existence in order to spread his words, his
deeds that we may do good things in life, for us to live life to its fullest happily.
And since we are placed from different areas of the world we also have our own language
for us to have distinction every time we meet each other.
In the Philippines we used the Filipino as our national Language, through this we may be
able to understand each other wherever you go in the Philippines.
Manuel L. Quezon was known as the father of our Language and proposed that August
will be the Legal month of Celebrating our Language.
The event starts with a mass presided by our very own School Director Rev. Fr. Restituto
O. Valdez and Rev. Fr. Jun L. Sapun. Saint Teresita’s Academy decided to let all learners
including teachers to wear Filipiniana for girls/ladies and barong tagalog for the boys/gentlemen
and we are surprised by the response given by the learners because they all looked fantastic
wearing their traditional dress including the teachers, their beauty was exposed.
We also conducted some contest for the High School Department and presentation for the
Elementary Department. For the High School (G.7 & 8 – Story Telling, G.9 & 10 – Interpretative
Dance and G.11 & 12 – Speech Choir). It was a successful event though we don’t have enough
practice. All the presentations are really good and amazing. All of us really enjoyed especially
the Language Coordinator (Ms. Evaria C. Batnag) because she didn’t expect that all the students
did their job well done 😊
