Note: when you purchose film, whethei it is bloik ond
white or color film, the film e.xposure index of the film is
olwoys cleorly specified on the box or in the enclosed in'
struciions. For exomple, for the commonly colled X film the
exposure index is 50, for XX 100 ond 200 for XXX' As
the film exposure index becomes foster you must use o
corresponding lower exposure (Shutter ond f stop). There-
fore, to moke proper exposures it is importont thot you
olwoys keep in mind the type of film you hove in your
comero (The exPosure inc'.:x).

electric current). When this eleclric current is tronsmitted to the

RICOHMATIC 225 light scole indicote light volues.

Speed Selector Lever upword. When you wont iusf the
foreground in shorp focus, such os o portroit, move the
Shutter Speed Selector Lever downword to dim the bock-
ground. At this point, to determine the limits in which the
s u bi e c t i s i n s h o r p f o c u s s e e t h e D e p t h - O f - F i e l d T o b l e o n t h e
'cover.
