SAP Live Access - Setup Guide

HA400 Collection 16
Before starting the lab work in your SAP Live Access training environment you will need to prepare based on
the SAP Live Access General User Guide and this course relevant Setup Guide. This document provides all
the additional training system setup information that you need to know in order to successfully use your SAP
Live Access training environment for the booked course.
Choose the desired course in the SAP Live Access portal and request the deployment of the corresponding
training system. Access to the training system is possible via the SAP Live Access portal after the
deployment is finished.

Your designated Group Number is being displayed in the top area of your SAP Live Access system window.
Every time you are asked to make an input containing the ## or XX symbols, you need to replace them with
the Group Number consistently throughout the course exercises.

System Landscape Information

Course HA400 uses a landscape with two ABAP systems and one SAP HANA server:

· ZME: SAP ERP 6.08 on SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.50 SP14, using Sybase ASE as primary database. The
system is configured such that it can access the SAP HANA database that is part of the landscape using
a secondary database connection.
· T8N: A pure SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.52 SP04 system, using SAP HANA 2.0 SPS04 as primary (and
only) database.
· HDB: A SAP HANA server used by ABAP system T8N as primary database and by ABAP system ZME
as secondary database.

course
IMPORTANT: Please always complete the exercise you are working on before you suspend the system as
to not cause potential system inconsistencies and failure.

Eclipse (not SAP HANA Studio)

Note that two versions of the Eclipse-based ABAP and HANA Tools are installed on the Windows Server:
· SAP HANA Studio, as used in most other HANA courses with the ABAP Development Tools installed
as plug-in
· Eclipse 2018-12, with the ABAP Development Tools and a newer version of SAP HANA Studio as
plug-in.

Both versions are pinned to the task bar and can be found under Start → All Apps.

For HA400 it is advisable to use the separate Eclipse throughout the course.
