SCHOOL CANTEEN OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT

SY 2019 – 2020

The Polytechnic College of Botolan provide canteen operations run by faculty members
and other school personnel’s, to ensure that the 20 percent of its profits are remitted to the
school to defray the cost of the school to the financial assistance for the deserved less fortunate
students.

Another goal of order is to provide nutritious foods at affordable price, the canteen
should be based on good management practices and financially self-sustaining. Experiences
show that, with good management and marketing practices will become efficient and
successful.

Effective PCB canteen management requires , knowledge and understanding in its goals
and objectives and is familiar with certain policies, canteen staff develop an implementation
plan to achieve policy goals, everyday operational procedures are supervised by the Canteen
Manager to ensure the safety standards of the food eaten by the students, even the employees
and other stack holders.

Other benefit of putting up a school cooperative canteen is to give additional source of


income of the teachers and others staff, and to build camaraderie to the members in terms of
business.
