Wall Finishes

Exercise

1. Measure the wall finishes as shown on the figure below.

Specifications

1. 12mm thick cement plaster (1:3) finish painted

2. 200 x 200mm white glazed ceramic tiles, Mariwasa or approved equal
3. Rubbed concrete finish. All uneven joints of plywood forms shall be grind and
patched up immediately upon removal of forms
4. Latex emulsion paint; by Boysen or approved equal; one coat of concrete sealer
and two coats of semi - gloss latex paint for all gypsum board ceiling and all
exposed concrete surfaces
5. All tiles to be bedded in mortar (1:3); jointed and pointed with colored cement
on 20mm thick cement and sand (1:3) render
6. Plaster and render to extend 100mm above suspended ceiling line

Notes

1. All walls to be 100mm thick reinforced concrete walls

2. RC columns at corners to be 200 x 200mm
3. All slabs to be 100mm thick
