20000 DAYWORK SCHEDULE
GENERALLY
A Where work cannot be properly measured and
valued the Contractor shall be allowed daywork
rates at the rates inserted herein. 0
SECTION A - LABOR
B The rates for labor entered by the Contractor in
Section A shall be held to include for the following:-
a) the amount of wages actually paid to the
employees when carrying out dayworks
b) the amount of bonuses, incentive payments
and other payments made to the employees
when carrying our dayworks
c) taxes, Social Security Premiums and the like
including SSS, Pag-ibig, Medicare, etc

d) overheads and profit as defined hereunder 0

C Measurement of labor shall be calculated on an
hourly basis in accordance with the rates entered
in this schedule. Overtime working will be held to
be carrying out work outside the normal working
hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday to
Saturday inclusive. 0
D Payment for overtime working where approved by
the Project Manager will be calculated on the
basis of the rates for normal time plus the
percentages inserted in this schedule. 0
E The wages of gangers and leading hands working
with their gangs shall be paid for at the appropriate
rate for the trade concerned. The time of
non-working gangers, sub-foremen and foremen
shall be held to be covered by the rates entered
for the labor under their supervision. 0
SECTION B - MATERIALS

F The rates for materials used in dayworks shall be

based upon the net invoice cost, after deducting all
discounts, of materials delivered to site, plus the
percentage inserted by the Contractor in Section B
for overheads and profit as defined hereunder. 0
SECTION C - PLANT
G Rates for plant are to exclude the cost of wages
in respect of drivers and operative which are to be
included in Section A. 0

A The rates for plant entereed by the Contractor in

Section C shall be held to include for the following:-

a) use of mechanically operated plant for the time

engaged upon daywork.
b) transportation cost for plant not already on site

c) hire charges where applicable

d) fuel, grease and lubricating oil

e) maintenance

f) consumable stores

g) spare parts

h) insurance and road taxes where applicable

i) VAT, EVAT and all other taxes

j) overheads and profit as defined hereunder 0

B Payment for mechanically operated plant and

equipment will be made only for such time as the
plant is engaged upon daywork operations and
shall exclude all standing time. Measurement for
plant on daywork shall be calculated on an hourly
basis. 0

OVERHEADS AND PROFIT

C Overheads and profit are to be included in the rates

entered by the Contractor in respect of labor,
materials and plant. 0

a) head office charges

b) site supervision and site staff

c) all government and statutory taxes and levies

d) overtime other than that allowed for in Section A

e) time lost due to inclement weather

g) subsistence allowances

h) safety, health and welfare facilities

i) third party and Owner's liability insurance

j) holiday and sick pay

k) tool allowances
l) use, repair and sharpening of small tools

protective clothing, storage facilities and the like that
