 HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi & Streamyx) is an add-on service offered by Telekom
Malaysia Berhad (TM) to allow subscriber to view content that is available at HyppTV via
multiple electronic devices such as tablet, PC & smartphone.
 HyppTV Everywhere is a stand-alone service offered by Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM)
to allow Subscriber viewing & subscribed HyppTV content available via multiple
electronic devices.

1.2. What are the key offerings/features of HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi & Streamyx)/HyppTV
Everywhere?
HyppTV Everwhere/HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi & Streamyx) will carry the same offerings and
features as below:
 Provides you with a new viewing experience where you can now do more with your
electronic devices rather than depending only with your TV (HyppTV Everywhere &
HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi & Streamyx)).
 Be in control of your electronic devices – You can now watch the same ‘licensed’ content
anywhere riding on wifi, 3G network or any 4G LTE networks (HyppTV Everywhere &
HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi & Streamyx)).
 No more fixed schedule, watch content when you want – For our line-up of On Demand
Services, you can choose 4 exciting categories at your convenient time (HyppTV
Everywhere & HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi & Streamyx).
 Enjoy your favorite programs, even when it rains. No more disruptions – You can watch all
contents anytime even in bad weather (HyppTV Everywhere & HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi
& Streamyx).
 You no need Set-Top-Box at your home to watch your favorite program on your devices
(HyppTV Everywhere)
 You just have to subscribe to our channel as low as RM6.36 in a way for you to enjoy our
amazing free channel (HyppTV Everywhere)

1.3. Can I still watch HyppTV Everywhere programs in bad weather?

Yes. You can still enjoy your HyppTV Everywhere programs, even in bad weather.

1.4. Can I watch HyppTV Everywhere and access the Internet at the same time?
 For smartphone and tablet, HyppTV Everywhere will be in the form of Application (Apps) for
Iphone & Android user. Hence, to watch HyppTV Everywhere while at the same time browsing
the internet, user need to switch HyppTV Everywhere apps to internet browsing apps.

For PC, HyppTV Everywhere requires will be in the form of clients. Hence, to watch HyppTV
Everywhere while at the same time browsing the internet, users need to ‘minimize’ HyppTV
Everywhere page and start to browse internet using user’s browser.

1.5. Can I subscribe to HyppTV Everywhere without subscribing to Unifi or Streamyx?

 No. You have to subscribe to Streamyx 4mbps, Streamyx 8mbps or Unifi since HyppTV
Everywhere is offered as an add-on service HyppTV Everywhere (Unifi & Streamyx).
 Yes. You can subscribe without subscribing Unifi or Streamyx HyppTV Everywhere

Choose the “Broadcast Live TV” icon on the user interface for tablet/smartphone/PC. You
will automatically access the Broadcast Live TV menu.
 All channels offering will come with the same content as from the Set-Top-Box
HyppTV Everywhere (UniFI & Streamyx)
 Channels offering will come with the content as your monthly subscription including free
channels HyppTV Everywhere

2.3. Can I purchase any channels from Broadcast Live TV content via HyppTV
Everywhere?
 Yes, you can purchase any channels via HyppTV Everywhere.

2.4. Do you provide subtitles for Broadcast Live TV content via HyppTV
Everywhere in all premium channels?
Due to some limitation, we are sorry to inform that subtitles are not available under
HyppTV Everywhere. We will inform customer with the subtitle function once it available.

b) Video On Demand HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi & Streamyx)

Video On Demand content allows users to select and watch/listen to video or audio
content on demand. To date (August 2015) 10 categories will be made available. There

- Now you can enjoy MORE food content with Malaysia’s first ever home grown Food
Network. This channel is home to all kinds of food programmes from simple 2-minute
recipes to short travel shows and ‘how-to’ videos. Not only will you be able to enjoy

starting with our homegrown flagship series- I Eat KL. Watch this channel too for up-
coming food documentaries and children’s programmes.

- Dunia Sinema offer viewers access to 10 Malay movies every month which comprise
of a good mix genre of library titles . Viewers can look forward to 10 titles for the first
month, with five titles refreshed every month subsequently.

8) Al Hijrah On Demand
- TV berkonsep Islam pertama dan terunggul di Malaysia, menyiarkan kandungan
yang berkualiti dan kreatif, yang mengajak masyarakat melakukan penghijrahan
berterusan ke arah kebaikan dalam semua bidang kehidupan. Ini dapat dicapai
dengan menghasilkan kandungan yang informatif dan mendidik penonton tanpa

 Yes, you can purchase VOD via your HyppTV Everywhere.

2.7. How many VOD’s are available for selection on HyppTV Everywhere/HyppTV
Everywhere (non HyppTV Customer)?

2.8. Is the Video On Demand service in HyppTV Everywhere similar to Astro On The Go?
The Video On Demand service in HyppTV Everywhere is different because it allows you to select
which movie and series that you want to watch without following schedule. Once selected, you

 can choose to watch the movie any time you want without having to follow the schedule. You can
also choose to watch it as many times as you like.

2.9. Will the content in the VOD be the same every month on HyppTV Everywhere?
No, new content will be added to the selection list every month. This is called ‘content refreshed’.

2.10. How often is the content refreshed?

The content is refreshed on a monthly basis.

2.11. How long will a video title be available in the VOD for me to choose?
A title will be made available via the GUI from 1 to 6 months for you to choose. Note that all
viewing periods are valid as long as they are within the content’s validity period.

2.12. Where can I find the detailed information and synopsis of the video title?
Details of each title can be found on the ‘INFO’ Page of the particular video in the GUI. Details
include price, synopsis, program classification, genre, duration, episode number and title,
directors and casts.

2.13. Can I search for the titles available in the VOD content?
Yes, you can. Use the “Search” function in the VOD menu. You can search using several
categories, namely titles, cast and genres.

2.14. Do you provide subtitles for VOD content via HyppTV Everywhere/HyppTV Everywhere
(non HyppTV Customer) all premium channels?
Due to some limitation, we are sorry to inform that subtitles are not available under HyppTV
Everywhere. We will inform customer with the subtitle function once it available.

2.15. What is “Favourite”?

HyppTV Everywhere/HyppTV Everywhere (non HyppTV Customer) allows you to set any of the
channels that you subscribe to as favourites.

2.16. How do I set a channel as my favourite?

You can set a channel as favourite by click at “Live TV” button then you can choose channel that
you want to set to Favourite. Then you can click at the “heart/love” shape button to set favourite.

2.17. How many channels can I set as “Favourites”?

 You can set as many channels as favourites as you like.

2.18. Why are the programs in the channels always repeating?

 Similar to all multi-channel Pay-TV services around the world, HyppTV provides you with the
convenience of watching all your favorite programs even if they are playing simultaneously on
different channels.
 If you are unable to watch your desired program for some reason, you can catch the missed
program at a different time.

2.19. Can I search for TV programs & VOD?

 Yes, you can search for TV program & VOD via the “Search” function at the main screen.
 Click on the “Search” button.
 Then you can then type the name of the program.
 Then click “Search”

3. CHARGING AND PRICING

*ALL PRICES INDICATED IN THIS FAQ INCLUSIVE 6% GST.

3.1. How much are the HyppTV Everywhere monthly subscription?

 HyppTV Everywhere divides by two Plans. Which is Plan A for RM5.30/month and Plan B for
RM10.60/month.
 HyppTV Everywhere (non HyppTV customer), you can purchase channel as an ala-carte basis
or you can ‘pick & choose’ 3 channels for as low as RM15.90/month (pack).

3.2. What are the differences between Plan A and Plan B HyppTV Everywhere (UniFi &
Streamyx)?
Plan A subscriber is allowed to register up to two (2) devices for each UniFi VIP, Streamyx 4
Mbps add-on HyppTV & 8 Mbps account for RM5.30/month.

Plan B subscriber is allowed to register up to five (5) devices for each UniFi VIP, Streamyx 4
Mbps add-on HyppTV & 8 Mbps account for RM10.60/month. Furthermore, HyppTV Everywhere

trial period will be start from 1 Aug 2013 – 30 Sept 2013. UniFi, Streamyx 4&8 mbps HyppTV
subscriber can enjoy HyppTV Everwyhere Plan A service for free of charge during this trial
period. Once trial period ended, to enjoy HyppTV Everywhere customer need to subscribe to
HyppTV Everywhere Plan A at RM5.30/month (only customers that subscribs to HyppTV Packs
will enjoy HyppTV Everywhere Plan A for free).

3.3. Will I get HyppTV Everywhere trial period if I subscribe to Plan B.

No, you will not get HyppTV Everywhere period if you subscribe to Plan B. HyppTV Everywhere
trial period just applicable from subscribers that subscribe to Plan A.

3.4. Am I still can enjoy HyppTV Everywhere Plan A for free and will be auto charge in the bill

Yes, you still can enjoy HyppTV Everywhere Plan A for free after 30 September 2013 if you still
maintain minimum 1 HyppTV Pack subscription. If you not subscribed to any HyppTV Packs, your
HyppTV Everwyhere Plan A will be auto terminate (no auto charge in the bill). If you want to
continue with the HyppTV Everywhere Plan A, you need to subscribe to the HyppTV Everywhere
Plan A (RM5.30/month) or Plan B (RM10.60/month)

You will be charged separately at a different price for each channel if you want to subscribe to the

No, you can ‘pick & choose’ only premium channels EXCEPT:
1. Hypp Flick Plus & 4 SVOD (Al Hijrah On Demand, Dunia Sinema, Hypp Variasi & FriedChillies
Food)
2. Channels price above RM10.60 (premium channels)

2.6 What is the payment method for me to subscribe premium channel or VOD as an ala carte
or by ‘pick and choose’ HyppTV Everywhere?
Currently we accept payment by credit/debit card Visa or Mastercard only.

4. SERVICE SUBSCRIPTIONS

4.1. Who can subscribe to HyppTV Everywhere?

 All UniFi, Streamyx 4 mbps and 8mbps packages for consumers.
 All service provider customer, wifi user, 3G network user, 4G network user, Android, Apple &
Streamyx user.

4.2. What are the payment methods for me to subscribe premium channel or VPD as an ala-carte or
by ‘HyppTV Everywhere Packs’ (HyppTV Everywhere (non HyppTV customer)?
a. Payment by all major credit/debit card Visa or Mastercard that registered in Malaysia Bank
only.
b. Streamyx Bill – Streamyx Customer can subscribe HyppTV Everywhere content by using their
Streamyx account.

4.2. Can I have multiple HyppTV Everywhere subscription under 1 Unifi/Steamyx account?
No, you can only register 1 HyppTV Everywhere plan per account. For example, you already
subscribed to HyppTV Everywhere Plan A if you want to add another Plan, you can only upgrade
to Plan B. You cannot subscribe to 2x Plan A or 1x Plan A & 1xPlan B.

4.3. Will you alert me before my subscription expires?

 Currently, no. However, you can view the validity period at Purchase History from the GUI
(HyppTV Everywhere)
 Yes, you will be notify one week before your subscription expired (HyppTV Everywhere (non
HyppTV Customer)

4.4. Do I get HyppTV Everywhere service for free if I purchase any HyppTV pack?
Yes, subscriber for any our HyppTV Packs will enjoy HyppTv Everywhere Plan A without any
charges.

4.5. Do I get HyppTV Everywhere service for free if I purchase HyppTV channel as an ala-carte?
No, only subscriber for our HyppTV Packs will be entitled for HyppTV Everywhere (Plan A)
without charges.

4.6 What happen if I terminate my subscription on any HyppTV Packs? Will my HyppTV
Everywhere (Plan A) got effected as well?

However, a request for termination of UniFi or Streamyx service shall automatically terminate

You are required to change to the new password via 2 options below:
1) SMS – for verification code
2) Email – to get the activation link.

You need to go to the apps and click to ‘forgot password’ and you are required to insert new
password once received the verification code via SMS. The verification code will be valid for 180
seconds. If you missed to insert the verification code within 180 seconds, you need to request for
the new verification code.

9.1.6 What is the step to change to the new password via Email?
You need to check your registered email and click on the activation link sent to registered email
address. The email activation link will be valid for 3 days only. If you not click on the email
activation after 3 days (from the date you received the email activation lick), you need to request

1.2. What are the key offerings/features of HyppTV Everywhere with digi?
HyppTV Everwhere with digi will provide features and viewing experiences as below:
 Provides you with a new HyppTV content viewing experience exclusively for digi subscriber
with multiple devices like smartphone, PC and tablet.
 Be in control with your electronic devices – You can now watch HyppTV content as a digi
subscriber with wifi, 3G network or any 4G LTE networks.
 No more fixed schedule, watch content when you want with exclusive offerings with digi
subscribers as follow:-
a)Digi ala-carte subscription – digi subscriber can enjoy up-to 49 attractive HyppTV
channels including 30 premium channels and variety of VOD titles.
b)Digi pack subscription – digi subscribers can also subscribe to an exclusive digi pack as
follow :
i) Digi Entertainment Package consist of 3 channels of Comedy Central, iConcert,
and FashionTV at only RM10.60/month.

Yes, purchases of VOD content can be done via HyppTV Everywhere apps.

2.7. As digi subscribers, is the Video On Demand service in HyppTV Everywhere similar to
Astro On The Go?
The Video On Demand service in HyppTV Everywhere is different because it allows you to select
which movie and series that you want to watch without following schedule. Once selected, you
can choose to watch the movie any time you want without having to follow the schedule. You can
also choose to watch it as many times as you like.

2.8. Will the content in the VOD be the same every month on HyppTV Everywhere?
No, new content will be added to the selection list every month. This is called ‘content refreshed’.

2.9. How often is the content refreshed?

The content is refreshed on a monthly basis.

2.10. How long will a video title be available in the VOD for me to choose?
A title will be made available via the GUI from 1 to 6 months for you to choose. Note that all
viewing periods are valid as long as they are within the content’s validity period.

2.11. Where can I find the detailed information and synopsis of the video title?
Details of each title can be found on the ‘INFO’ Page of the particular video in the GUI. Details
include price, synopsis, program classification, genre, duration, episode number and title,

HyppTV Everywhere allows you to set any of the channels that you subscribe to as favourites.

2.16. How do I set a channel as my favourite?

You can set a channel as favourite by click at “Live TV” button then you can choose channel that
you want to set to Favourite. Then you can click at the “heart/love” shape button to set favourite.

2.17. How many channels can I set as “Favourites”?

You can set as many channels as favourites as you like.

2.18. Why are the programs in the channels always repeating?

 Similar to all multi-channel Pay-TV services around the world, HyppTV provides you with the
convenience of watching all your favorite programs even if they are playing simultaneously on

Digi subscriber can choose to subscribe an ala-carte subscription as low as RM6.00/month.

b) Digi exclusive packages

i) Digi Entertainment Package consist of 3 channels of Comedy Central, iConcert, and
FashionTV at only RM10.60/month.
ii) Digi Kids Package of 3 channels of NickJr, Discovery Kids and HyppDino
at only RM10/month.
iii) Digi Pakej Sensasi consist of 3 channels of Hypp Sensasi, HyppInspirasi and MNC
Channel at only RM10.60/month.
iv) Digi Dragon Package consists of 3 channels of TVB8, Now International and SETI at only

VOD?
a) Digi postpaid subscriber- digi postpaid subscriber may purchase any of broadcast live tv
content via app and choose either to be charge via credit card or chargeable to their digi monthly

b) Digi prepaid customer- digi prepaid subscriber may purchase any of broadcast live tv
content via app and choose either to be charge via credit card or immediate deduction of their

after activation?

8. SERVICE TERMINATION

8.1. As digi subscriber, how do I terminate my subscription?

 Postpaid digi subscriber – To terminate auto-renewal customer can terminate via HyppTV
Everywhere apps by unsubscribe button.
 Prepaid digi subscriber – For prepaid digi subscriber the termination will commence
automatically beforeexpiry date of the subscription. Shall prepaid digi subscriber wished to
continue, they need to re-subscribe the channel.

8.2. Do I need to pay any penalty when I terminate the HyppTV Everywhere service?
No, you no need to pay any penalty when you terminate your HyppTV Everywhere.

8.3. How long does the termination take effect?

The termination will be immediate, however, for the monthly subscription service(s), you can still
view the content up to the date of your next billing cycle.
