Gurugram is place where the population is around 25-30 lakhs in today’s date, if I go according to

the increase percentage in population from past census. In addition, from those 25-30 lakhs 20% is
the population of child. We, the Planet Spark is targeting this 20% to generate more leads and
revenue. As Planet Spark is providing game-based blended learning, which combines classroom
teaching with technology, is having more than 10 learning zones in Gurugram.

As the learning zones are tied up with OYO Rooms, we can assume that these rooms will be smaller.
If I take 1 learning zone (learning room), I can assume it will take the capacity of 10-15 students at a
time. As Planet Spark is providing three classes per week, I am assuming there are two batches in a
week. And as per schedule for the first batch (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and for second batch
(Thursday, Friday, Saturday). So there will be 20-30 students per week. And if one student is paying
₹30,000 for one year enrollment, we are generating ₹9, 00,000 per year form one learning zone.

And if there are two batches on first three days and another two batches on remaining three days,
we will be generating revenue around ₹12, 00,000- ₹18, 00,000 per annum from one learning zone.
By this strategy, Planet Spark can grow easily across India. And as an Intern I can generate 10 leads
in 2 months which will be around ₹3,00,000 for Planet Spark.

As far as strategy for generating leads is concerned, I got some ways as follows:

 By targeting a locality where big schools are set up, we can go for Hoarding Advertisement.
As the location is near School, we can do small hoardings, which can arrest the attention of
parents as well as the students. For this hoarding, I am taking 10k-20k ( ₹1500- ₹2000/ square
feet and 8-10 square feet).
 Apart from that, if we can go for print media advertisement, we can do advertisement for
one month before starting of an academic year. As TOI is the most selling newspaper in
Gurugram locality, we will put an ad in Times of India. For an ad in TOI, it will be costing
around ₹4120/sqcm (as per location) *100sqcm = ₹412000. This amount we will be spending
for 30 days.
 We can go for posters in crowded locality. We can paste these posters on walls and we can
send them with newspaper as leaflets. And these leaflets are costing around ₹1- ₹2/piece. If
we are sending to 5000 families, we will be spending ₹5000- ₹10000 for this process.
 Now days, social media is the most used and emerging platform for marketing. We can use
Facebook, Google or other sources to publish our advertisement. Once we get leads through
Facebook, Google or ad networks, we take (customers) to the sales page. If they don’t buy,
we call them. We should have a 10 people team to contact with them. Once we got traction,
then we send them coupons, ask them to invite their friends. Digital Marketing is only to
create critical mass, and then the product has to grow on its own.
 If situation permits, we will do the offline survey to get the proper leads. And we will do
offline marketing to bring students to this platform.
