1) How long will the class be?

Classes are for 1 hour with 50 minutes of instruction time.

2) What time is the class? -

We will schedule the trial class and inform parents about it over whatsapp.
You can also refer to the scheduled class post login in the upcoming class section of
web/mweb/ android app. Generally paid Batch classes are scheduled between 3 PM to
9 PM depending on the subject and grade.

3) How will I know when the class is? -

You can also refer to the upcoming class section post login in the my class section of
web/mweb. You will also get SMS also 2 hours before every class. For paid batch, we
also give a month schedule in advance
In case if you have enrolled for classes you will get SMS notification 2 hours Prior and 5
minutes prior to the class (2 times).

4) What are all the subjects are you going to teach? -

We currently offer tuitions for Maths/Science for class 5-10th CBSE/ICSE. We are also
offering a core english curriculum for grades 3-8th CBSE/ ICSE. English curriculum is
designed in LSRWG (Listening, speaking, Reading, Writing, Grammer) Approach.
English curriculum will have 40 classes which will happen on 3 days( MWF or TTS)
every week.

Our Startup is based out of Gurgaon. As the classes will be done through video
conferencing location is not a constraint.

7) Do I need a computer for a class?-

You can access the class through Laptop/desktop, Tablet or mobile phone. Although
laptop experience is better if possible.

8) Do I need Wifi for the class? -

You will need the Internet to attend the classes. You can access the class using the sim
data. But it’s advised to use wifi for better connectivity.

9) What will be the teacher student ratio. -

The student to teacher ratio will be 1:6, 1:2 and 1:1 to facilitate personalized learning.
Note: Coding will only happen in 1:1 model.

Will you cover the whole syllabus or just doubts -

We will cover the entire syllabus in our year long full syllabus plan.We will take doubts
as well during the class. We are planning to have specific doubt solving sessions where

We will try to appoint 1 teacher for Maths and 1 teacher for science subject.It can also
happen that within the same subject some topics are taken by a specific teacher. We will

your kids class. It can also happen some really good teachers are taking both the
subjects. In my opinion you should trust us and must not worry about it.
We currently offer classes for only Maths/science for the entire curriculum and English
core learning for 40 classes. If you have reservations with the current teacher we will try
to replace him/her with other teachers.
 15) If the class is going on and automatically ends in between what will
happen?
Every class is scheduled to fix the 1 hour window. If it ends prior to an hour it will again
get started. In rare cases if it had to cancel we will reschedule the class.

16) ​How many trial classes will be there?

We are giving 1 trial class for the subject. So effectively you can opt for 1 trial class for
Maths and 1 for Science. In rare cases if a customer is still not satisfied please schedule
more trials.

17) Who creates the content and lesson plan:

Our dedicated content team who constantly work on interesting pedagogy to deliver
these topics. They are the one who will create practice tests and lesson plans to deliver
conceptual clarity. They are from reputed colleges and organizations in education sector
like Kaivalyam Education Foundation, Piramal Foundation, Teach for India, and past
experienced school teachers

18) My child is weak/strong. How you will handle it in a batch:

We will try to create batches with similar learning curve students to address this. We
profile students and then allocate them to batches. Also our experienced teacher will
ensure that learning on our platform is seamless.

19) How many classes will be there in a week.

For a single subject 2-3 classes per week will happen based on the batch in which you
are starting (April vs June vs July), holidays and students grasping the syllabus. Maths
and science will happen on alternate days. For example, Maths will happen on Monday.
Wednesday, Friday (MWF) and Science will happen on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
(TTS) or vice versa. Sunday is kept as reserve day to handle extra classes as required.
For now English core learning and Spoken English classes will also happen 3 days a
week. (MWF or TTS). Vedic Maths classes will also happen 3 days a week(MWF or
TTS).
Note: You can check the exact batch from all batches and suggest the timing to the
parents.

20) If a kid class is scheduled for 4pm to 5pm and by any reason the kid is
not able to join the class then can we reschedule the class for the same
day?
It will be a function of the classes happening on that day. If we can reschedule the
same day then it’s fine else reschedule for tomorrow.

Q: I am not able to join 6 PM class at 6:21 PM. What is the issue?

To ensure best in class experience we only allow any class joining till 15 minutes. This
will help in class structure and ensure instruction quality.

Q: What will be the topic of trial classes?

 Please go through the trial sheet and check the topic for grade/board and subject level.
The concept and chapter names exist in the sheet.

Q1 Will there be different batches for ICSE and CBSE students ?

Ans. Yes. As the learning style differs for ICSE it’s more application based and advanced we
ensure a separate batch with separate lesson plans. Practice tests will be different and mock
tests will be created considering the ICSE curriculum.

Q2 Will you give homework ? If yes ,then how will you check it ?
Ans. Students will be provided assessments and teachers will have the access of the answers
by the students and this will happen chapter wise. You will get both objective as well as
subjective practice tests as homework. After every class homework will be given to students by
the teacher.

Q3 Will you cover other reference books ?

Ans. The content is a mix of multiple publications and it will definitely cover the school
curriculum. Even beyond this if you feel there is something which is not covered, you can let us
know and we will ensure to cover that as well.
Note: Please communicate all these exception cases prior to enrollment. These things must be
updated in the comments section while filling subscriptions.

Q4 Can we reschedule the class ?

Ans. Batches will be formed and conducted from a particular date and time. We would advise
your kid to attend class regularly, and if you miss any class you can see the recording of the
past class. You can attend the revision class also. In rare cases we will plan an extra class if a
student will perform badly in that topic's practice test.

Q5 Can we get class timings according to our convenience?

Ans. We will take a preferred time range and try to have Batch timings in that time slot.
Suppose your kid is free after 6PM then batches can be scheduled between 6-7PM or 7-8PM
or 8-9PM. Once this time is fixed for the batch it will remain the same. In future if you want to
change the timings we will try to handle on a case to case basis.

Q6 Will the same teacher who took a trial class will be taking classes for my kid ?
Ans. It depends.if your requested time slots match with the teachers available slots then she will
take classes. Otherwise our other star teachers will take her/his classes. You should not be
worried all teachers are one of the finest and pass through rigorous screening.

Q7 Is it a new company 'Swiflearn' ?

Q9 Will all the syllabus be covered for the student?
Ans. Yes, it will be covered in regular classes, and before the exams we will make sure, that
part of syllabus is finished for every student

Q10 How will you check what the child is doing in their notebook?
Ans.
During the class : Teacher asks students to solve questions, then asks answers, and wherever
the student is wrong, goes into details of the steps with the student on what he/she wrote in the
notebook. If needed the student can show the notebook in the camera of laptop / mobile.
After the class Assessments : Students have to submit subjective assessments through typing
the answer and attaching photos of the steps they have written. Then teachers will mark them
on the system and give a report to the students and the parents.

Q11 How will you make sure that there is enough question solving ?
Ans. Students will attempt a lot of objective and subjective homework assessments throughout
the year and these assessments will need to be solved after every class.
We already have 1000’s of assessments live on the platform.

Q12 What is the structure of a doubt class?

Ans. In class, the child can ask doubts. Teachers will discuss the allocated homework in these
classes.

Q14 How will you teach Maths and Science?

Ans. We follow explore based pedagogy which encourages students to ask questions and
explore. This awakens students' curiosity and engagement. Students start devoting more time
because they now enjoy these classes and learn along the way.

Q: whether 1 hour is enough to teach lesson plans and handle doubts of 6 students in a
class?
A- Yes. Generally curriculums are planned with 3 hour learning in a week kind of model.
Generally schools also follow the same 30 minutes period for 6 days or 40 minutes
period for 5 days. We also provide 3 one hour classes on similar lines. As in our case
only 6 students which is more than sufficient.

Q: If a student parent can connect after class with the teacher for doubt?
You are free to join open doubt classes which happen everyday between 3-7PM. Or Can
ask the doubt in the next class from the teacher. We also facilitate frequent doubt
classes in batches to discuss homeworks and doubt related to specific topics.

Q: Kindly explain Pro rata refund process?

A- Anytime you can get a refund on the classes which have not yet happened. So we will divide
the payment by the number of classes in that package and then whatever classes remain, will
give the refund accordingly.​for example we have charged you 1000 rs for 10 classes and
your child attended only 2 classes then we will refund you 800 rs.

Q : Past classes can be watched even after completion of the Curriculum?

Yes. It will be available till the end of academic year (April)

Q: Why are you charging Rs 9999 for English Course?

Sir we are giving 40 classes in Rs 9999 which is Rs 250 per class.

Q: Due to lockdown We don’t have books and are unaware of the curriculum?
We will follow the curriculum mentioned in NCERT books for CBSE and Selina
publication book for ICSE. Also we cover each and every concept in detail. We will
ensure every topic which needs to be covered is covered.

Q: What all study material will be provided from your side?

Classes will get recorded. You will also get assessment (subjective/objective) along with
subjective mock tests. Also short notes will be available for revision. You can access
class notes after the Class. On the study material section on our website you will find
NCERT solutions, sample papers as well.

Q: Directives of government says zoom is not safe.

Advisory issued cites that zoom is susceptible to hacking and hence not safe. But still
zoom is the most stable solution to enable learning hence still a lot of schools and
universities are still using it.
Our classes can be logged in only through logging in to the account. Teacher
ensures that no unwanted person is there in the class and kicks out random unwanted
people. Hence we can assure that choosing swiflearn is a safe option.

Q : Can students enroll for a Single Sub subject of Science- Bio,physics and Chemistry
particularly ?
No. We currently provide an entire offering of science. You can enroll in 1:1 batches to
avail such custom requests.

Q : Why are Trial classes topics pre-decided and can not be changed according to the
Board ?
Trial class objective is to demonstrate how we facilitate learning. Hence to avoid any
confusion they are pre decided.
We do have separate trial classes for CBSE and ICSE boards.

Q : Once School gets started after Lockdown If students want to change their batch
timings whether they can or not ?-(as parents are specifically asking this questions
before making payment )

All the batch timings will be defined considering school timings. All the schools
generally get over by 3 pm. We schedule all the batches between 3PM to 9 PM
considering the same. You can highlight it during that time. We will try to move to the
batch timing which can suit you depending on the batch availability.

Q: Batch has already started how you will cover the chapters already done in classes.
Your child will join the current batch and missed chapters will be covered through extra
classes.

Q: It’s necessary to go ahead with the entire year plan?

No. You can plan to take a 1 month trial for grades 5-8th, The pricing will be Rs 4000 per
month for 24 classes (12 classes for maths and 12 classes for science). For grades 9-10
the pricing will be Rs 5000 for the month.

Q: Customers are not able to find recordings of the class.

1) Classes joined through link recordings will not be visible.
2) You can always find the recordings in the past class section. Apply Filter on class
and time slot and check for recordings.

Q: What if the customer is not able to see his class?

1) First try to check the board and grade is correct. You can also make changes in
your profile and check. (Trial)
2) For paid have to check the student DB and see if the user is paid and login from
registered mobile number.

Q) What will be the batch timing. Can you please update?

Agents can check the batch timing from the batch section in all batches.
In case the batch is already running for that grade and board you can let parents
know about the timing. In case a new batch always takes convenient slots from parents It
can’t be a single slot. Please take time range or multiple slots.
You can also check how many classes are already done for that batch in the batch
classes section.

Q) When 6 students are in a batch they will join on different dates How we will manage
the curriculum

We will try to fill existing batches first. New joiner will start joining the session from the
start of the new chapter. You can follow the number of classes done till now ​here.​ (class

Q) How do we design a 1 Month curriculum for 1 Month trial students?

For 1 month the offering will be 24 classes (12 for maths and 12 for science). New
students will join existing batches and we will not be able to take custom requests in this

Q) Counsellor shares curriculum with Number of classes according to chapter on email

but as per customer they are considering that curriculum as a Time table? How can we
tackle it in that case?
We have to clarify that the chapter will take that many classes. Actually division of
chapters happens on the basis of broad divisions of concepts. Ideally this will follow the
structure with which generally exams happen in the school. We have researched many
schools before coming to a final plan. 80% of the schools will have this order of classes.

Q) If a batch was already commenced 20 days Ago with 4 students and new students
joined in between what we have to communicate to new joined students about their
curriculum?

the payment?

At sales we must ask for atleast 3 days to plan the classes. It might happen that we
would be able to initiate classes from the next day itself.

Q) Do we share the Monthly time table to Paid users?

Teacher end say any reason then how will communication be sent to the users?

Homework will have a deadline to be submitted. Will be handled through SMS/
