BYJU’S Group Study | Neha Goyal

Group Study

Brief
To introduce a study group feature within the BYJU’S - The Learning App in order to create a space for students to discuss, exchange ideas and
collaborate in their learning journey.

Some More Pointers

• We can consider 9-12th standard students as the target audience

• Groups can be formed with friends and strangers

• Student can join an existing group - request to join or directly joining can be considered

• Ability to follow high achievers and have a feed of activity that might interest them

We consider positive motivation as an important tool throughout the app.

Research | Understanding Points

● A group of friends or student want to have group study where they can discuss their doubts, solving questions, exchange notes and help

each other in studies.

● A group can be subject and topic specified so a student can post their question related to their topic, so it will reduce wastage of time

studying every groupmates weakness.

● Students stay updated about each other’s study activities and routines, so it keeps them motivated.

● Group discussions or problem solving activities will stay in record for future joining friends or any student who joins the group.

● Group can be marked as “Private” or “Public” for security or privacy purpose.

● Group study should be Question specific in order to avoid unnecessary discussions i.e when a friend joins a group he or she can post his or

her question or any doubt to ask or can check already existing questions.

● Students can check high achiever’s feed of activity to keep themselves motivated and joined their high achievers group.
