COMPARATIVE AND SUPERLATIVE

Make comparisons of the following. Use your own ideas. Write three sentences for each
set, one using the comparative structure with than and much or a lot or a bit or a little,
one using the comparative structure with as…as, and one using the
superlative.
Ex. watermelon/ grapefruit/ orange.
A grapefruit is bigger than an orange.
A grapefruit isn’t as big as a watermelon.
A watermelon is the biggest fruit of the three.

 A doctor isn´t as good at law as a lawyer.
 A teacher is the greatest teacher of the three.
6. Egg/pancake/donut
 The egg is cheaper than the donut.
 The donut's not as good as the pancake.
 The donut is the richest dessert of the three
