User Manual
Overview
Thank you for downloading G
reen Hill Paradise - Act 2! My name is Daniel Coyle
(SuperSonic68) and on behalf of the GHP team, I hope that you will find your experience
to be a unique and enjoyable one.

Green Hill Paradise - Act 2 began as an experiment to answer a rather heated question
the Hedgehog community: Can Sonic the Hedgehog work as a
within the Sonic

fully-3D, exploration-centric platformer? After 10 months of development,
experimentation and testing we would like to believe that, indeed, i t can. It is with pride
that we present to you, the player, our fully-playable attempt to answer this divisive
question.

Please refer to this document for any questions regarding set-up, controls and hardware
specifications.

Tips n’ Tricks
Gotta go fast? Play it smart!

● Green Hill Paradise - Act 2 features accurate Classic Sonic physics! That means
that using the terrain to your advantage is key to playing this game effectively.
● You can perform a “Spin Cancel” By performing a Spin Dash, followed
immediately by cancelling the spin into a run. Use the Spin Cancel to traverse
steeper slopes!
● Have trouble performing accurate jumps? Try using the Stomp for a quick
descent! It will slow you down a bit, but it will help with trickier jumps.
● Sonic can’t turn very well while rolling. Keep this in mind when determining
when you should roll and when you should run!
● When faced with a half-pipe, hold the B-Button as you land to hit the ground
rolling!
● Use the numbered Telepads to make backtracking a breeze! Simply activate an
associated Checkpoint and use them to visit previous locations.

There are loads of secrets to be found in Green Hill Paradise - Act 2! It may seem
daunting to find everything, but it’s alright! Take a chance! ‘Cuz there is no
circumstance that you can’t handle… When you use your mind.
