CEIT TUTORIAL

Tutorial is an important teaching-learning tool. It helps learners enhance their intellectual,

communication and social skills. Since last year, the CEIT-SC conducted more than four tutorials
but unfortunately this year the CEIT-SC didn’t accomplish the said activity. It is because the
availability of the students and the tutors. There were times that the CEIT Students are free but the
tutors can’t because of the projects and they have also their own responsibility. Supposedly, the
CEIT Tutorial must be held at Engineering Building last January 26, 2019. The CEIT-SC
encouraged the CEIT Students to visit always the SSCT School Library because some of the tutors
were there if they are vacant they can ask any questions personally. The officers of the College
were asking for consideration of the students for unaccomplished tutorial.

CEIT TUTORIAL
February 9, 2019
Engineering Building

Many freshmen students are struggling in understanding the basics of their Calculus and
programming subjects especially that not all freshmen CEIT students are a graduate from STEM or
ICT strand. Last February 9, 2019, the CEIT-SC apologized for not doing the best to conduct the
tutorial at Engineering Building; it was because CEIT-SC Officers were busy for the preparation of
the College Week. Also the CEIT students were busy for their project and quiz that time. So the
officers decided to cancel the Tutorial. If ever next time, the CEIT-SC will tap other organization to
help the student raise their concerns about their subject and hopefully they will help.

CEIT TUTORIAL

The Midterm Exam was fast approaching. Everyone wants to study and review their entire
topic. Before March 9, 2019 was the time that the students ask questions about the things that they
didn’t understand. But the CEIT-SC failed again the student body to have a Tutorial. The tutors and
the students free time didn’t met. Those who were willing to be tutored were mostly Civil
Engineering Students but last March 9, 2019 was also their deadline of the drawing plates and they
need more time to finished it on time. Therefore, the CEIT Governor cancelled again the said
activity. Quality is more important than quantity so whatever it is the student needs to work hard and
study more for them to pass the subject.

LOVE OUT LOUD

Love is the most beautiful feeling on Earth and the greatest of all. The CEIT-SC wants to
conduct this activity last February 13, 2019 at SSCT Function Hall for the CEIT body to experience
this great love that needs to be shared. However, there were unexpected moments that need to
consider. The 1st week of February was busy for the College Week preparation. The CEIT-SC was
asking to the student who wants to join the different kinds of activity for the whole week and also
collecting the T-shirt and College Week Contribution. As the days goes by, the CEIT-SC didn’t have
enough time to prepare the Love Out Loud Activity. It was very disappointing for us because we
didn’t accomplish this activity. We regret for not doing our job responsibility and excellently. In every
struggle, there will be failure but stand once again and continue move onward for the best.

Recognition of all the achievements and thanksgiving for all the victories, support and effort
to the students, advisers and CEIT Faculty were one of the activities for this year. Even the CEIT-
SC was excited for this kind of event and set the date for the activity last May 4, 2019 at SSCT

hectic schedule. Also the Final Exam was fast approaching. The CEIT Secretary also can’t handle
