Interconnecting our World This year the theme of the
conference is Interconnecting
our World.
Now more than ever, the
interconnection between all
systems helps provide us with
better scientific understanding
to help anticipate, prevent, and
prepare our world to be more
resilient.

We will extensively cover the

work going on with GIS in the
time of COVID, highlighting
many of our customers' efforts
in thousands of organizations
that have made an impact on
their communities and
organizations.
System of Systems Geospatial infrastructure is a
“system of systems” that
interconnects people,
processes, data, and
technology.
It has emerged as a
contemporary vision to frame
the increasingly integrated
components of the geospatial
industry.
Many frameworks have been
used to describe the
combination of geospatial data,
science, hardware, and software
that all contribute to this
industry.
COVID-19/Crisis Management • More user submissions than
ever representing all sectors
we work in:
• Out of 1200 user submissions,
over 300 were COVID related,
highlighting amazing work
done by our users around the
globe, and our teams
supporting them.
ArcGIS Online Map Viewer • Easy to use and allows
everyone to create rich
visualizations of data to
identify patterns.
• Utilizes the latest JavaScript
API for faster rendering and
analytics.
• Cartographic techniques – like
cartographic blending – can
help tell the story in beautiful,
new ways.
• ArcGIS Blog: What’s New in
Map Viewer Beta
• Map Viewer Beta GeoNet
space: Discuss new
functionality, read blog
articles, and provide feedback
ArcGIS Pro – Suitability Modeler • Simplifies the planning and
site suitability process.

• A new user experience for

performing weighted overlays.

• Suitability modeling can now

be quickly completed in
ArcGIS Pro with this single,
integrated tool.

• A great tool for educators

teaching GIS concepts.
ArcGIS Pro – 3D Voxels
• Provides a beautiful, new
way to visualize and
understand complex,
multidimensional data.
• View isosurfaces, section
and volumes to understand
spatial relationships.
• Explore data across 3D and
time to uncover hidden
patterns.
• Video: What’s New in
ArcGIS Pro 2.6 (will be live
immediately following
Plenary Session)
