In KL the Check out time is 12.00 PM & Check in time is 2.00 PM

We had our Breakfast at Selera Putra (Food court ) , It was located beside Putrajaya Lake.
After finishing our visit in Putrajaya we started our journey for KL. About 1.00 PM we
reached our hotel – Hotel Grand. After necessary formalities we checked in to our rooms.
We had our quick bath & rushed for our lunch at Indian Restaurant – Ghazal.
We were free in evening for shopping, we went to one of the famous Malls Bukit Bintay. One
can find vast variety of Electronic Goods & branded clothes there.
The KL Tower is a 421m high telecommunications and broadcasting tower which actually
appears to be taller than the Petronas Towers, because it is built on a hill. Kuala Lumpur
ranks fourth amongst the tallest telecommunications towers in the world.
Petronas Tower – One of main attraction of KL is Petronas Tower, it is one of the highest
buildings in the world. They are 452 meters tall (88 Floors) . The Skybridge of the
PETRONAS Twin Towers opens from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm &
on Monday Skybridge would be opened for half day from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
The Skybridge Ticket Counter opens at 8.30am on every operational days. There are 1300
tickets to be issued on first come first serve basis. The ticket is free of charge. Normally
the tickets would be finished around 11.00am. The tickets will be issued on the visit day
itself. To avoid any disappointment, I would suggest you to come to the ticket counter as
early as 8.30am. The Skybridge Ticket counter located at the underground of the
PETRONAS Twin Towers. The floor can be accessed from both Towers. you’re not allowed to
stay very long long on the bridge. After 5 or 10 minutes you’re ordered to go down.
The Entry Ticket for the sunway lagoon is 65RM for Adult & 50 child. Kids below 90 cm are
free.
Sunway Lagoon is separated into 3 major theme lands: Wild Wild West, World of
Adventure and Waters of Africa.
King palace is surrounded by a beautiful park, green lawns and ponds. It can be watched
from outside the main gate where the Royal Guards, dressed in white Malay as well as red
British inspired uniforms, are guarding the main gate on horse and on foot. The king in
Malaysia is the head of the state. Together with the Prime Minister, the King appoints the
cabinet from among the members of Parliament, as well as the nominal head of the military
and all three branches of government.
Sultan Abdul Samad Building is located in front of Independence Square. The structure
takes its name from Sultan Abdul Samad, the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time when
construction began.
BATU CAVES
Batu Caves are situated thirteen kilometers north of the capital city Kuala Lumpur. They
are the sacred place for the Hindu’s in Malaysia. They consist of three main caves and a
number of smaller ones. The caves are made of limestone and 400 meters long and 100
meter high. They were discovered in 1892.
--This as a place of worship of Lord Murugan.You will be welcomed by huge statue (140 feet)
of Lord Murugan,
--In 1890, an Indian trader named K. Thamboosamy Pillai established this as a place of worship
of Lord Murugan. He installed the murti of Lord Murugan and built the temple inside the
cave.
Getting there
Take the MRT from Taman Jaya to KL Sentral. From there ascend on the KTM Komuter train
to the Batu Caves.
Very cheap journey, one way ticket is just 2 Ringgits per person
I boarded the train at around 7AM from KM Sentral, reached at the destination at around
7.45AM.
Dark Caves
Dark Caves – Guided Educational and Group Tours available
The Malaysian Nature Society, a prominent NGO that works on Nature and Environmental
conservation, organizes educational and adventure tours inside the cave. Individual
educational tour lasts for around 45 minutes. Tickets costed me 35 Ringgits
You will be provided with a helmet, protective jacket and a torch. Your guide will enlighten
you with the history and geology about the cave. It was quite fascinating for me to know that
there a few species can be found in this cave, and nowhere else in the world.
Visitors are advised to observe the rules of dressing and decorum which are listed at the
entrance.
Genting Highland is just 1 and half hours journey from Kuala Lumpur by bus. It is
beautiful place to spend your summer vacation. Kids will simply love this place. Lot of
activites for all age group. Genting Highlands is at 2,000 meters above sea level, is a relief
from the hot and humid lowlands. It has a casino, water theme park [indoor and outdoor].
You can reach the hills from the ground by a cable car which is Asia’s longest and
fastest cable car service.
